Hi cutie, having the reaper makes so much difference- lucky ;-; At 200->210, I trained around soulful Erdas, while for lach I did lach clocktower 1F with no frenzy- though it was before lach changes. For 240->250 I personally went for MTS3, altars\ grim harvest on top 3 platforms, lucid soul to the left, infantry on the bottom middle platform (on the right side). Another tip is not using 4 altars at a time, to always have atleast 2~3. Also, Aura Scythe just got revamped and we have a higher uptime as of fabled melody patch- which makes it a lot better for mobbing. OMG mentioned me at Arcana
I stopped playing maple 3 years ago. I still miss the non cd hyper... Still don't understand why they put a CD on it when there's so many classes that can cover a bigger area with non hyper skills. Thinking about coming back but not sure BUT IF I DO ITS BECAUSE OF YOU BRO!!
Hey man, I really like your guides (you deserve a sub for that!) but I think you need to mention that this guide is mostly aimed for funded players. For example, an average BaM (or any other character) definitely won't be able to 1hko (not even 2hko in that case) mobs at DwT because of the huge damage reduction from overleveled mobs. Besides not everyone have Frenzy totem and some maps will be really really bad without Frenzy.

@@siegz slowly boost with boss equips, flaming, link skill/union & cubing! enhancing to 15* with the current newtro sauna event would be nice if u got the mesos, & actually most of my equips are epic pot except for my staff and cape. arcane symbols are important too so do your dailys

Currently using a fafnir staff, dunwitch set and abso set on the sides. Almost all are 17* 9% int pot. But still my range isnt that good. And i think it might need plenty of funding to make things tier to unique or lengendary? Not really good with my luck for tier ups tho
But why tho? Battle Mage has the best teleport, period. Whenever I bring my Pathfinder (my submain) to boss, especially at Lucid P2, I miss my Battle Mage's teleport.

If you can bear with BaMs pre-200 levels, it turns into an amazing class, with loads of potential, that has very few mains. It's definitely a undervalued class, with loads of party support, and relatively cheap gear.

If you play bam, you become a half-support who gives up damage for some pretty useful utility in party shield and auras. Meanwhile, Xenons offer way more damage in the late-endgame, but have the most expensive funding curve out of any class. Both have amazing mobbing with their summons.
Where do you train from 200-210 with little funding? My main is only 220 so I don’t have a lotta stuff to give to mules. And I’m having trouble killing VJ mobs lol
@@BuyHighSellLo pretty late answer but fes2 with spawn enhancers is insane and doesnt require much funding. the other two alternatives are dwt and scrapyard, both of which are harder and worse for a lot of classes.
For mobbing, it'll be nice, but its just adding more frosting to the perfect cake. BaM has possibly the best map control in the entire game, it doesn't need too much else. For bossing tho, it's absolutely massive. It does something like 33% of your total damage when bossing.
Sup my dude, this vid inspired me to make a BaM with the tera burning. But I'm pretty bummed with the dmg output. ¿Does it get better?¿Am I gonna need more funding than other classes to be decent? Let me know
BaM pre 5th job is a disservice to the class. Post 5th job or gets a lot of powerful abilities, but pre 5th requires a bit of extra funding compared to most classes.
The V-matrix is shown in the first minute of the video. As long as you have all the same skills in my boost nodes, you're good. The 'perfect tri' is mostly for aesthetics
Only things I would add are using reverse city and yum yum if you're strong enough 205-220. Then try out Sellas in the 240. Instead of sticking to Arcana entirely.

I'm playing MSea Aquila, maining battle mage also. Lvl 212 now tho. Items only fafnir, and cygnus. Thinking of changing to absolabs

Yeah CLP is pretty darn good for NW. Especially now that bats proc 100% of the time, instead of being rng.

Kind of, yes. If you dont, try using dark aura.
Also is the option of using finishing blow before you teleport, as that should knock out the mobs if you have enough range

With AWAKE coming up, what potential do you see in the new V Skill for BaM mobbing?
For mobbing, it'll be nice, but its just adding more frosting to the perfect cake. BaM has possibly the best map control in the entire game, it doesn't need too much else.

Yellow always for mobbing. Dark Aura if you have someone in your party with an AS buff, that lets you cap out.

Ideally yes. AS +1 is the best prime line for inner.
