as such there is no exact profession as scientist, but as sir told above you can have stipend while doing your post grad in a govt recognised university . and can do further research while doing job as a professor . and for business you can open fertilisers and pesticide shop, or can become a breeder, or can do contract farming.
Go for bsc agriculture , I m pursuing bsc in biotechnology and foodtech and microbiology r same as biotechnology , agriculture have more scope than these field u can apply for govt job too . Choose wisely 😊 good luck

yes ,you will definitely get the govt. job if you crack the required exam for the job. otherwise the common scenario is most of the pvt colleges encourage students to do post grad from a govt agriculture university for better opportunities. otherwise pvt colleges don't take responsibility for even in campus placements for pvt jobs.
