    How great!! ❤ I tried to make mine but it went bad because the edges were torn so badly so all the work went wrong. What's the best fabric to use without having the edges get torn so easily?

      @whyknotstitches  2 месяца назад

      I suppose you've used a fabric that has a low thread count fabric, or linen. The best fabric is a soft cotton. I have marked the links to the best fabric for this project in the PDF files of the pattern, have you found them?
      The best fabric is the high quality Calico 100% cotton, it must be medium weight and high thread count.
      Here are a few links where you can find this fabric online.
      - creatoriq.cc/3YI0QpK
      - creatoriq.cc/48rgMjk
      - creatoriq.cc/3UnnXDh
      You can try Kona cotton as well
      - creatoriq.cc/3xg4snM
      I hope it helps!

      What exactly you don't like about the music?

    • @vdoniel
      @vdoniel Год назад

      @@whyknotstitches I am in Georgia USA. I have to listen carefully because of your lovely accent. The music breaks my concentration. It's not the music itself any music is distracting. You have enough to say so It's not like there is long periods of silence. This is merely my opinion perhaps the majority prefer music. Consider taking a poll.

  • @helenott3565

    I’ve watched all these videos, each one is an excellent tutorial, thank you. Would be even better without the music I think !

    • @whyknotstitches
      @whyknotstitches  Год назад

      Of! Thank you!
      You're the second person who tells me about the music. I'm prepping the other videos in this collection and would love to create better videos. Would be helpful to know what exactly don't you like about the music? 🤗

    • @WithYourBirds
      @WithYourBirds Год назад

      @@whyknotstitchesin my opinion, the music isn't bad, but it's a bit too loud compared to your voice. Lowering its volume or removing it completely when you're speaking (you could turn it back on in moments when you're just stitching without explaining) would greatly help make the video easier to understand.

    I've made 5 ornaments so far. The hardest part is the sewing and turning the heart... the fabric gets damaged. I do not like do much the shapes of my hearts 😢

    • @whyknotstitches
      @whyknotstitches  Месяц назад

      Hmm, so sorry to hear this.
      Have you tried another type of fabric? The fabric should not damage when you turn it over, is it possible that you got a stiff fabric? Send me an email with a quality picture (I need to see details) of your hearts, I'll give you a feedback and tips ;)
