Thank you for my mini French vacation. The castle was epic but it would be a beast to warm in Winter with all the high ceilings. They probably had a solarium. Another sign of wealth.
Soooo beautiful!!! France is stunning. I collect pottery and the chateau would have been a financial disaster for me! Here in the US people are beyond stressed! That is why I travel with my dogs and hide in nature!! 😬🤣😉
Whaattt love it, what a perfect wedding venue, France has the most amazing chateaus years ago, I used to watch a British couple restore one and it was called, Escape to the Chateau lovely series Dick and Angel it became a wedding venue.🪻🪻🪻 France weddings and Lavender 💜
I was giggling at you describing how difficult Dutch people can get and wondered how we Afrikaans people (from South Africa) compare in temperament, because Afrikaners descent of the Dutch, French, Germans and English. i feel we were much more relaxed and friendly 30 years ago and South Africa has a lot of space, but things changed so much, I wish i could get myself, hubby and 2 dogs in a "huge van" and go there were there are no people and no demands and no nasty personalities or at least where people still follow the old ways. nowadays we are all slaves of a system and more of us want to get out and live life as it was meant to be. lastly, that guy who almost hurt you fury baby needed an old fashioned kick in the but. he would probably have been offended...
He will get his karma back someday, i didn't need to do it. I'm just happy Pilou is still good and open to people ❤️. I heard about some political stress in SA, that might not be good for a person. I think its funny i talked about the stress about going back to NL and i lost about 6 subs already 🤣. Eventhough my opinion i expressed is one i hear all around me here in NL, its filtering out 🤣

Maybe it is because the world is already kind of stressed/short tempered about everything. About your question about SA. It is true and you probably only heard about the tip of the iceberg. It is a difficult country to live in for all, but we, and specifically the Afrikaner , believe in a Almighty God who will protect us and take us forward. Ohhhh that was amaaaazing, loved that pottery, I’ve only ever had one go at making anything and that was at school I made a mug 😂 actually the Leaning Tower of Pisa has nothing on my mug, I’ve still got it and if ever I have a workman here or someone who doesn’t know me I’ll get it out and say would u like a coffee or tea 😂 I love a joke, but the look on their face always starts me laughing. @@sayyestonewvanventures my mug leans so much it spills more than it holds 😂 but I love to play jokes with it can’t do it with my friends because they’ve all seen it but whenever I get chance to bring it out to someone who doesn’t know me I do it for laughs, I start the conversation seriously but can’t control my laughing it’s the look on their face when I hold it up and ask them if they’d like tea or coffee 😂
@@sayyestonewvanventures yes 😂 I love jokes and everything crazy 😂 I think I go overboard sometimes though, I remember a couple of yrs ago playing a joke on a woman I didn’t know that well, I put on a ugly scary rubber mask and a long tweed coat that went to my feet and some big boots and had a fake Willy which I poked through the button hole of the coat, I hid In some bushes and as she came through the gateway I jumped out, ohhhh my days she started screaming and running backwards and fell over ripped her tights and scraped her legs I tried shouting it’s ok it’s me ohh my days she went crazy at me 😂 I still giggle about it she didn’t speak to me after that 😂 some people have no sense of humour 😂
Just thought I’d make it clear I’m not a crazy person lol it was a joke that didn’t go as expected, my friend was with me and she wasn’t dressed up at all, so I thought she’d have realised it was me, I didn’t expect her to react the way she did, or for her to run backwards, i thought she’d have known it was me, and seen the funny side, let’s just say I’m a little more mature these days in the jokes we play, let’s just say we don’t dress the part anymore. lol
