Fort Solis is a 2023 horror adventure game developed by Fallen Leaf and Black Drakkar Games and published by Dear Villagers. Set in 2080, the story follows Jack Leary, an engineer who arrives at the titular Martian mining station after an alert is activated. The game is played from a third-person perspective, with the player exploring the station and interacting with objects. At certain segments, the player control Jack's colleague, Jessica Appleton.
Fort Solis has four chapters including:
Chapter 1 - Dark Descent
Chapter 2 - Let There Be Light
Chapter 3 - Midnight Run
Chapter 4 - Forlorn

Was going to say he missed that one. He spotted the first one in the part 1 which I missed in my first playthrough. Glad someone else noticed. It's alot easier to spot when playing the actual game due to youtube compression etc doesn't look the best.

20 min in this game is literally a walking simulator mixed with quick time events. A literal "haunted house" type game experience. Just walk and look at the cut scenes that are spread out.

Kind of a plot hole, guy was in the military supposedly because of his habits that get pointed out in the dialogue. He comes across 2 bodies that died violently and freaks out. And still doesn't bother to look for a makeshift weapon of any kind. But I'm still riveted. Keep going Brad.
Maybe his military career was some kind of pencil pusher position.

20:48 His mouth was like that because when your character tried to get himself up, he put his hand on the mouth/chin area of the dead body and crushed/moved the jaw when pushing himself up off the ground. You can even hear a bone crack when getting up.

The way the darkness settled is so scary, a darkness that you can get used to because no source of light beside your flashlight

I never could put a book down when the chapter ended on a cliffhanger. I stayed up way too late, in my youth, when I should have been in bed, resting for school the next day. Between Goosebumps, Jurassic Park and Danger in Quicksand Swamp, I never did get enough sleep.

I've been playing a lot of Microsoft Flight Simulator on my Xbox Series S since I got it but, tonight, watching you playing this game and by the way, I've been distant from games like this for a while now, I'm feeling that vibe again, the old "nights of Brad's series vibe and I am enjoying it. This game looks amazing. I'm actually Flying right now on the Simulator and watching these parts 1 and 2 during the cruise of a very long flight and I feel like I need to play this as soon as I can. Thanks, Brad, for all these years of incredible nights watching you playing. I've been away from your channel too but I think I'm definitely back.
There isn't much of things besides the Flight Simulator on my days lately but this one here will change the things a little bit. I need to play it this Sunday.

Yo when you look at surveillance cameras, sit there on each of them for at least 10 or 15 seconds or somethin man, I guarantee they arent all there for nothing, and usually theres those triggers where youll see something after you look long enough. Also dudes face was like that because your character broke his jaw when pushing off of him

This is the first game i have seen where the characters naturally, the way the arms sway. Such a simple thing, surprised it's never been applied before. Normally charcters in a game when they turn they look like rigid toy figures.

Nice run and amazingly detailed game design. Just one point I never get... Not a single person thinking of getting a weapon even there are casualties and hostiles. It's so unrealistic.
Kinda gives me heavy rain vibes with the interacting and walking around mixed with a little hint of Callisto protocol but a bit slower

@25:27 one of the best slow burn movies that you might enjoy is Fire in the Sky. I switched it off after an hour first time round as it was too slow, but on the second watch it got real crazy real fast after that first hour or so. Recommended if you havent watched it yet.

The one thing that I am yet to see in all the sci-fi movies and games about Mars is the correct depiction of the Martian gravity! It is 1/3 of the one on Earth. So, the whole movement should look completely different! Springy, if you know what I mean. You would make longer steps and even hover a bit in mid air. The jumps would be 3 times higher, instead of 1 foot you would easily jump up 3 feet! The objects would be much easier to move. You would swing longer while hanging on the rope and jump farther... You get the idea! Instead, all the Martian games and movies show Earth-like gravity! That is one, incorrect, and two misses so much fun and unique mechanics!

I don't see what would be so damned difficult about getting this right in a video game. It may not be quite as simple in a movie but certainly in a video game.
