Its actually really easy to beat even hard AI in this game. The AI nearly always attacks you when you have less Numbers than them and never attack you when you have more numbers then them. So just run around with an Doomstack of Units and get Cards until you can secure a continent with enough troops on the borders, send out a doomstack again and repeat. At this Map Ociania/Antarctica is a good Backland to take for some extra troops.
Drew: Gotta keep an eye out for any opponents that I can knock out for their cards. *sees yellow* *does NOT see that he can easily kill orange on several opportunities* me: *cries*
Just realized that you play with "true random", beware of that: 40 Vs 10--> 1Vs 5 This stuff may happend if you are unlucky. The best tactic in this game is to start by focusing on establishing a small but strong and defendable territory, by taking enemy territories close to yours, and only after focus on taking a continent; This is the best choice unless you can quickly take a small continent of less than 5/6 territories like Australia.
Nicola Something Drew really doesn’t understand is that there’s not really such a thing as overextension. Once you have a core territory you can put your back against, the best defense is overwhelming offense, especially when playing against people who try and do things like avoid overextension. Blitz the map and nobody can stop you.
If you want better Risk-like alternative, you should try Warlight. It has terrible graphics, but many more interesting maps, and additional features (cards giving paratroopers, naval invasions and much more). Give it a try!
You should play Age of Conquest, it's basically risk without the dice and a little more complex, if you do consider this, I suggest you play on the Rise of Rome map (not full or part) and try to play as Sparta and win, or just play around, but if you do play, a little tip is not to go and declare war on too many people, it lowers happiness and that causes cities to riot, witch means you can't make troops there, so if you do play, if I was you, I'd declare war one a person barely bigger than you, and if you win that battle, wait for 4 or 5 turns to build up your troops and to raise happiness, like if you think Drew should play Age of Conquest!!! (and if you don't know what that is, just google it and see if you think it would suit Drew)
Drew: "so i've been wanting to play on a pangea map forever, but no game or no mod has ever allowed me to do it." Us Bois who remember the civ days: " :( "
You don’t get a card if you don’t invade somewhere in a turn Drew! Always try and invade somewhere each turn, then you can just move your troops back to hold!
My boy Drew can easily take over Oceania and Antarctica and get both of their +2s, but goes for South America instead. Drew clearly has 10,000 IQ. Update: My boy Drew can take out Orange, who only has 1 troop left, and take his cards, but instead just ends his turn. 9:00
It’s not all skill you also need luck Luck having a chance to corner self with Antarctica and oceania bonus Instead went for South America and divide his army too much thinning himself :)
Drew: plays against hard AI and/or on hard difficulty, skips the tutorial.
Also Drew: Why am I so bad at games?
The AI is actually quite pathetic, being too aggressive, spreading themselves too thinly and not taking people out when they could.
Name of the game
@@Mich_vidz The name of the game is Risk

New Israel no shit
Blue: has 11 units in Tanzania
Drew: "11 in Tasmania! "
He was no clue how to play and I still watched till the end...
@YourSavageRoom This isn't pravus gaming. Calm down bud
I feel like taking Antarctica first and then focusing on South America would've been fairly succesful.
Antarctica and Oceania both are in the corner and small.
He also missed several opportunities to take out players which would've saved him
@@themerchant9711 Yeah, he simply wasn't aggressive enough.

When he could have taken Antarctica from the first turn
My head already started to hurt. I hope it gets better as the game goes on
David Ramos it didn’t
YES
When he could have eliminated orange but full sent the opposite direction.
The computer chose for him he said that he was going to let the ai choose

and try to take at least a territory per turn to get your card and wait to try to get one card each to get 10 troops
Blitzing the map always results in an L in risk

3,000+ people: I liked that.
God when he was creating Pangea:oh yea it’s all coming together
This looks like one of those mobile ads
Now, a word from our sponsors RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS
It was painfully obvious that he should have taken Antarctica in the first turn. This is prime Drew right here.
I will create a pangaea map game just for you drew
"No game or mod has let me play on [pangea]"
-ex civ let's player Drew Durnil 2020
Yeah but he means a Pangaea with the real continents on it. Not Civ which is just a random made land mass
Last time i was this early drew was actualy playing games
That comment doesn't really work considering the content of this video
That map was unrealistic so they could make a realistic mod.
Graduated from Princeton? How was NJ
Petition for Drew to start a second channel?
I mean he does have this old channel
I’m in school currently and my science class is currently learning about Pangaea
Argentina? I see you’ve made contact with mustache man

Is it me or his head shape keeps getting weird every video
New video idea would be a eu4 Pangea or ottoman Empire 2000 in age of civ 2
Like (if you want) to make it possible, I from Turkey
How can someone who plays geography games all day be so bad at Risk? 😂😅🎮
You don’t get a card if you don’t invade somewhere in a turn Drew! Always try and invade somewhere each turn, then you can just move your troops back to hold!
Drew should play civ again and see if he’s still good lol
drew could've taken out both yellow and orange and still have a chance but he just horded troops in brazil. big brain time.gif
I feel like I just watched the longest mobile add 😂😂
You can play Other sorts of games in RISK like Capital Conquest
His father is on Jeopardy: Greatest of all time. :)
My boy Drew can easily take over Oceania and Antarctica and get both of their +2s, but goes for South America instead. Drew clearly has 10,000 IQ.

You need to try meat pies Drew. Specifically Natchitoches meat pies, they can be bought in stores
The world according to drew
There's a Pangaea map on age of civilizations 2
I liked that you changed your hair Drew, it looks better now.
I actually like Risk. Do more please
Should’ve gone for Antarctica, only two spots. Basically free troops
Try and always take at least one territory per turn for the card
Blue: [controls everything]
Drew: "Now what we need to do is focus on taking out green"
Also Drew: "I feel like this is mostly luck"
What's up Alabama boi
Drew being passive doesn’t work in this game.
What non-gaming laptop or desktop is best for civ 6?
When you realized
"The another players are bots" but it's ok
Drew really had to flex with his phone
Take at least one territory a turn, unless of course you want to lose. Cards are fairly important
You need to take at least one territory with every turn so you can get a card
What hurts is that he isn't invading early to get cards
Drew you need to take at least one territory in order to get a Card
Drew playing games whats next, I sorrow productions just watching AI, Spif playing without an exploit, Jreg trying to comprimise
bruh I was literally gonna comment on ur last video "Drew if you want cancer, find a pangea mod"
*PLS BRING BACK MILF WORLD, PAINTBRUSH*
