- This is a full room tour of Disney's Bay Lake Tower deluxe studio with a theme park view. This is a Disney Vacation Club room, but it can be booked through the Walt Disney World website as well. Our room number was 8218.
This room sleeps up to 4 adults and has one bathroom. The layout is a little different than other DVC studios, so the bathroom and bedroom seemed slightly bigger, but the kitchen area felt cramped. The kitchen was nice in that it was its own small section, but it was difficult to have more than one person in there at a time.
We had an absolutely amazing view of the fireworks, and you can listen to Happily Ever After from your tv. If you're staying in this type of room, be sure to take time to watch the fireworks from here to truly enjoy the view. It's amazing!

We have stayed here quite a few times and love the close proximity to MK! Although, I do prefer the Bay Lake view. The theme park view shows too much parking lot...Jen XO

did the pack and play come with the room? could you set it up while the bed is pulled out?
When the studio rooms first opened the sink was actually in the kitchen area which people complained bitterly about so they essentially turned the sink around into the bathroom which really made the bathroom smaller. All of the counter areas in the little kitchenette work well for a vanity area so that is nice. My husband and I stay in a studio for a week each year and enjoy being close to MK, monorail, busses, and boats. Being so close to the MK bus lot gives you transportation options to other hotels which are nice especially at Christmas time when I go to the hotels to view decorations. I do not find the sofa bed hard to sleep on. I would not put two adults on the sofa bed. We enjoy the stay every year. Accommodations are nice, but it is location, location, location. We never opt for the theme park view. The theme park view is too much of a parking lot view for me, I would rather see the lake.
The furniture looks pretty worn these days. Stayed in a 1 bedroom villa when bay lake first opened and did enjoy it back then.
what would you suggest as a request for a Lake view studio?
The higher floors tend to have prettier views over the lake because you can see so much further out ❤️

Agree with you, however my husband would rather take the convenience of being across the street from the parks. He digs that. Love David’s DVC for making that a reality! No financial relationship lol
This is a studio? What a miserable, small room. Reminds me of something you'd get in New York. And those pull out beds look so uncomfortable. The seam. I bet its miserable to sleep on. I could see myself sinking in.
