I used to finish work in Tauranga at 1730 then straight to Mt Manganui and run up with all my old Army kit (About 50kgs) 25 minutes to the top and 15 down lol when my Daughter arrived i ditched my Army kit for my Daughter in a purpose built Backpack she loved it
The Bay of Plenty is known for its beautiful coastline and marine life. Take a boat cruise and get out on the water to experience the magic for yourself.

We live about 10 mins drive from Kaiate falls so beautiful there for sure especially after a good rain. Enjoyed seeing your view of our city and I look forward to checking out rice rice baby sometime.

Heya! Waihi Beach seems perfect for walks. That road around Tauranga is amazing. And when you think it won’t get better, the room view from the hotel is even better 😍! Mount Manganui has some nice scenery and great views on the way up. It made me think of Wineglass Bay on Tasmania. Kaiate Falls looks like the Montezuma Falls (yes that’s on Tassie as well haha). Thanks a lot for sharing! I’m gonna get my 2nd jab this Monday and hopefully I can travel abroad again in October, looking so much forward. It’s most likely gonna be Tenerife island of Spain. A must is Omanawa and Kaimai Falls then the lookout on the top of the Kaimai pass (All part of my marriage proposal day) Spent part of my time in the NZ Army in the South Island (Burnham) 5 years near Christchurch
We're back home in Brisbane :) We headed over for a 3 1/2 week road trip and filmed a whole bunch of episodes. Managed to get home before this latest round of lockdowns!
haha I love the passion here! So, we were making our way down to Napier via Taupo so in our next episode we drive through Rotorua and checkout the Redwoods then onto Taupo and then Napier :) I feel like we need a good 6-12 months to visit each spot slowly! When I planned our itinerary I thought we'd have plenty of time but then you get there and it's just so quick!

I visited on year 2000 was there for one month I walked up to the top of my manganui and went on the jet boat rides, shooting, horse riding, off road driving too! Had the holiday if a lifetime... I hope to visit again in my lifetime. 🌅🏝🌍❤💕🏞🌍
