Since Lana has green eyes, I would have loved Abbiejean to have very light green or dark blue eyes. I just love light eyes on dark-skinned people, they shine as jewels.

Maybe its a pun on people being expected to feel that way, especially black people. When black people in America are Americans and they do not need to feel any more connection to the African jungle than they do to a K-mart.

I disagree, i think Malory Archer is WAY more badass, cuz even in her old age she was still a great spy, not that Lana isn’t, but i think Malory was like Yoda and Lana more like Ahsoka, both great but Malory was the most experienced spy overall, just my .02

Lana Kane.... my favorite animated female character on TV. EVER🥰..... It's hard for me to imagine anyone but Aisha Tyler giving Lana a voice and bringing her to life. Aisha was already a successful stand up comedian before Archer was thought up and pitched to Fox. Lana is the perfect counter to Archer's overbearing personality. Smart, Sexy and always ready to handle whatever life throws at her. May she be there to keep an eye on things and help/take care of her coworkers for as long as there's breath in her lungs and a heartbeat.❤
The only successful marriage Archer could be in is one where he can do whatever he wants with absolutely no concept of accountability. He should marry Pam is what I'm saying.
I quite agree that his relationship of friendship with benefits with Pam is more sustainable as a relationship... and would end up with Archer dying of cirrhosis and Pam of an overdose. At the beginning of the series, Archer admitted that Lana that she was his only friends. I wish they had gone with the friend route, but they made Pam a total badass (which is cool) and also a good sexual partner for Archer. The only reason for those two not to be married is that both are self-destructive. But I wish they had explored the friendship side with Lana more. They did until the fifth season. Archer was super friendly and helpful to Lana, and cared about her unborn baby as if it was his when he didn't know she was his. I wish they had gone on that way: Lana being a family on her own, Archer being a friend and then friends with benefits. Their relationship in season 5 was super, super friendly and cute. But once they made them start dating, of course they had to have Archer philandering and Lana insecure... And then Lana was happily married and then she started to act all out of character and nasty so her marriage could be broken so she would be free for Archer. I do not like how they wrote that either. Agreed on Pam. I think they made the "half-assed proposal" from Archer to Pam in the quicksands so they could give the real answer: Pam would not marry Archer. Probably because they are exactly the same. Thing is, if the writers want a good influence on Archer... well, they don't, because the series would be over.
