I feel like pauses like that can make a great impact in a song like in Dun Dun by Everglow but a lot of the time, maybe even the majority in my experience, they are used really ineffectively. That being said it has been stuck in my head for days now so I've been listening to it whether I'm crazy about it or not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
