I made this today and cooked it on low for 8 hours. When I went to pull the meat out it just fell off the bone! Tender and delicious. I don't think I seasoned the ribs enough but I reduced the juices and it helped flavor the meat. Thank you so much for this easy recipe!

Great recipe and instructions but I think that there are six sides to each individual short rib. Like a cube, they have six sides including the bone side. None-the-less a very nice job.

I tried this yesterday. It was horrible. The meat was stringy and dry. I suspect way too much Worcestershire sauce . The wine didn't he[p either, I think.
It’s important to purchase quality meat. If your short ribs ended up stringy and dry, that’s where the problem is. There’s no cooking method that can make up for poor quality meat.
Oh my god so much flavour you have missed by not deglazing your pan with all of that beautiful fond, it's a crime to have wasted that!! Also why not use actual onions and garlic for way more real flavour? Or more seasonings? This looks so bland I can't even. Take 10 extra minutes to add good steps and it'll be 3000% better
We have a traditional recipe for classic braised beef short ribs that uses fresh onions and garlic and deglazed the pan. Slow cooker recipes are meant to be quick and easy so for this recipe, we have chosen to simplify it for busy home cooks. It sounds like you are not interested in recipes like that, but as mentioned, we have many other recipes available, including a classic braised short rib recipe that sounds like it is more to your liking.

Yes, you can use boneless. They will cook slightly faster. Maybe 1 to 2 hours.

When you say red wine, do u mean red wine vinegar?
De-glaze the pan with that red wine. Don't need much. A half of cup will do. And if don't want the wine you can use broth or just plain water.

Searing is not an option.
There are six sides to sear.
The ends don't need to be seared as they shrink up against the bone, but you can always sear them if you'd like.
