He's improved a lot but I don't know about that. He might become a more complete player than Caufield but I still think Cole could become a 40-45 goal scorer. Suzuki still has the potential to be a selke winner too. I think Slaf could become a great winger putting up 65-75 points and great defensively. Could he become the best foward on the team? Maybe but I just think Caufield and Suzuki have a much better toolset to be stars. He might never be that 1st overall caliber player but I still think he could be a very good player for us.
cc and suzukiu are above average hockey players. it wont be hard for guys to make and score more than them. They are second line players on any contending team. Suzuki is 24 and caufield is 23 and they've not done anything still young but guys their age on other teams have done a lot more.@@drfritz3517
I'm not sure what you see but he's a liability on the ice. Why do you think Caulfield and Suzuki have done nothing with him... Biggest mistake ever is treating him like a top 6. He'a good skater who should forecheck and push the play while the top players get a rest. He will never score more then 10 - 15 per year playing top minutes and pp.
I don't think he's been as amazing as many habs fans claim but calling him a liability is just wrong. Sure, lots of his goals are greasy and lucky but as you can see in the video he does create some offense with his ability to protect the puck. His positioning has gotten so much better. Some nights he was the best player on the Suzuki line. He might not be ready for a top line role but he's made a lot of progress and belongs on that line on most nights. While I don't think his ceiling is very high I do think he will be a solid option in the Habs top 6 even when they will be a playoffs team.
Did you see slaf against pittsburg last night? Most dominate hab on the ice,,,the kid is 19 and is still developing, he has all the tools, size, speed and skill and more importantly a strong work ethic and good attitude.
Why do completely clueless people like you feel the need to post your drivel when it’s clear you know absolutely nothing but in your own mind you think you do
He already has 10 goals 😅and this is his first proper season. I think he has to become more confident on the ice and learn to shoot. Honestly, I think they worked better with Dach and Newhook due to the play of Caf/Suz being easy to predict.
He’s becoming so good. He probably has the potential to become our best forward. A complete power forward with skill and decent defensive game

@@drfritz3517 a more complete player than Caufield , eh? You probably shouldn’t ever talk hockey. Jesus Christ.
“Best forward” 🤣

he reminds me of mark stone
He reminds me of a mix of Anders Lee and Mikko Rantanen
missing the open net = best play
maybe the title is not great, im trying to show every scoring chances he's had.
