    This is by far the best video on You-Tube about how to use a Total Station. I know because I have seen about 99.9 % of them. That being said, I would like to see how one sets up over a point in the field without the help of the optical plummet. Most people do not own such high end devices and must use cheaper Transits that come only with a plum bob. So how is the best way to setup these devices? I would like to see it done by a professional such as you.

    Hello, I noticed your RL/IR Toggle and Laserpointer are activated, but I thought the TC407 didn't include the laserpoint feature. Does it work in your model or would you get an error if you pressed them?

    Hi Mate I am land surveyor from India Kerala I have experience with total station now am in Ireland How can i find a land surveyor job in Ireland Can u please tel me the step to that Or i have to do any course here to do my job??

    Hi mate I have interest in doing a setting out Engineer course .I have been a plasterer for 4 years but I want to know if I can become a setting out Engineer with a short course in setting out Engineer without HND or Degree qualification.

      Depends on where abouts you are based from, I've know a few people in the UK that just done a course and completely changed occupations from banking etc to setting out engineer. Hope this is helpful and sorry for the slow reply
