Richardson PD - National Police Week 2021

Today, on Peace Officers Memorial Day, we remember fallen Richardson Police Officer David Sherrard and the federal, state and local law enforcement officers who died or have been disabled in the line of duty. Earlier this week, we held a ceremony in their honor and Chief Jimmy Spivey called for a moment of silence for Officer Sherrard. To our City Council, City Manager’s Office, Richardson Fire Department, Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association and those in attendance, thank you for your continued support.
