I do not know if this card trick has been performed yet/before, but it would be cool. Take two sealed new decks, open one, shuffle (or have spectator shuffle) then have them pick a card, showing their card to everyone. Next, open the second deck of cards, pull them out, shuffle, spread them out face down, have the spectator remind/show everyone their card, then do that move that flips the spread out cards over from end to end (don't know what that move is called) but as the face down deck is revealed, EVERY card is the card the spectator picked from the first new sealed deck
This is what self-working tricks should be. No awkward counting, not a long time spent dealing in a bunch of piles. The Audience knows that 13 and 26 are important numbers in a 52-card deck, so they get that math tricks exist in a deck. (Edit: Which breaks the illusion). The audience knows that stacking can happen. This trick lets them randomize the deck to their liking which makes it credible. Plus it's short. That's key. Many of these self-working routines are long and tedious. This one is over before they realize you didn't shuffle to start with. And when you're done, the stack is gone, so you can move onto another routine. Great trick.
It crossed my mind for sure. Some friends reminded me most won’t bother to do the work, many will forget, and the few who do use it will be lucky. But let me make it up to you a bit…drop me an email or DM on Instagram and I will send you something.
You have it going on mr6 LOL no I think everything looks fantastic my friend and the card trick was great as well thank you so much for the video I certainly enjoyed it and great luck in the future be looking forward for more great card magic take care of yourself chat soon your friend Billy Simmons
I don’t think it’s robust to different types of shuffling, so if the person doesn’t know how to ruffle shuffle (or doesn’t even know what a riffle shuffle is) then it probably won’t work.
@@MAGICSIXThanks, I should have looked! So many times I DO check and the content provider has added nothing. And, I have both books at hand. Kind regards, John
This would be a nice trick if people knew how to shuffle or wanted to... i swear dude.. ive asked 100s of people.. they either say no thanks.. or i cant shuffle.....
I just find that preforming Any card trick that requires you to fan out the cards facing you to “Make a prediction, or Anytime during a trick…Takes All the Magic or illusion Away from Any performance.
First time came to this channel! Really good one. Didn't tried yet, but have question. What if they drop all top placed diamond set and choose a different other one?
MIKKKKEY!!!!!! IT'S SO GOOD TO SEE YOU BACK! THE STUDIO LOOKS GREAT I'M GUESSING YOU DECORATED BECAUSE YOU'RE GOING TO DO ALOT MORE VIDEOS.. we missed ya kid, I know I did.🃏♠️♥️♦️♣️🧙♂️
Heyyy, just discovered this channel... And by this miraculous card trick, I'm mind blowed! Obviously I subscribed! Just a curiosity: what's the deck called? Other than that, amazing 😂 Great work, seriously
@@florianwagner2921 It IS a magician fooler bc im an expert card guy and those were my first REAL books before I read The Kabbalas and Hierophants and Marlos Magazines and Cervons; Bannon's;Jennings;Bro John Hammonds;Jc Wagners;etc etc etc so do you think IM GOING TO REMEMBER a stupid trick that FOOLED THE HELL OUT OF ME ???? It fooled the hell out of me. I don't even remember reading or doing it. BAM Im going to start doing it FOR magicians only .
Thanks brother! Yeah, grad school has been time consuming so finding time to post has been challenging lol is it for sale yet? You know I’m ordering it!! 🙌🏻
I'm thinking that You might be able to upgrade this to a multiple (3?) Card Discovery, perhaps by splitting the deck and putting all Evens in one half and Odds in the other. I'm going to have to play with this idea as I think the Handling would be a bit different, but still utilize a similar premise.
I LOVE that this is from the books like expert card technique and royal road. All these kids think they’re going to be a magician overnight watching RUclips card tricks.😂 no you gotta start with the books my guy
I dunno why this was suggested to me, but your setup is nice! Always impressed with good lighting. You’ve got some harsh shadows on the back wall, though-might try some diffusion over your lights (wax paper or opaque shower curtains can work wonders). Just a suggestion, because this setup and presentation are really solid!
Lol not sure, but welcome! Thanks for the feedback, I actually really appreciate it. It’s the up lighting in the back, may have to add a second light to balance it out. I have an acoustic blanket that I purchased but haven’t had a chance to put up; maybe the white side will bounce the light a bit reduce that. Will see if adding some more diffusion helps as well. Thanks again!
@@MAGICSIX Absolutely! Spent a lot of time making my own content, and it’s all about making little steps. Keep up the great work! And awesome trick, btw. Really clever.
I think you are mistaken…audience management is crucial to being a performer. There is no option to have them shuffle as they please, you tell them to do a riffle shuffle. I can write pages on why and how to do this. But if you would like some ideas, feel free to message me on IG and will gladly help you help! 😃 Happy New Year my friend!
@@melvinlee3956 honestly, the overwhelming majority of my spectators do not use the Hindu shuffle. I know that could be a unique case. At the same time, I almost always assume the audience does not know how to riffle shuffle. This trick, is ideally a magician fooler, so the audience would be magicians 90% of the time. Because let’s be honest, this procedure makes no difference to non-magicians, the cards could just be marked or a full deck stack. However, when I do this for non-magician spectators, I simply use the Rosetta shuffle. For me, the greatest performers always manage the audience while making it feel like they were not doing such a thing. Think Dani DaOrtiz, or Juan Tamariz. I hope you would be willing to try it, but as Dani would say, “it’s your life”. Lol I’m always will to chat and share ideas if you are interested in learning ways to work this into your performance. Wishing you a successful and healthy 2024!
Love the new set up Mike and am SUPER happy to see you posting again! I first saw this trick on Scam School but a few things that were different from this trick is that the suit is in order on top of the deck and you didn't have a few cover cards on top of the deck when explaining what to do. Overall this is a great trick and I will have to try out this way! I hope you and your family had a wonderful Easter! #Roadto3K!

I love the signed Derren Brown PlayBill! I bet he was wonderful to see in person. And, thank you for another great tutorial!
it was really a fantastic and a clever trick.. Loved it..
Really good stuff and tutorial!
Thank you!!
Nice trick... Providing they do not go past _YOUR "13 cards"._
But what happens if they are patient and slowly deal past the set up? 8-\\...

🎈🎈👍😁😁😁😀😱
Suppose they go past all the diamonds, is the trick ruined?
Six wasn't he in Blossom see what i did there.
Well I am a magician and it fooled me. Great and simple trick. I love that you can ask them if they want a second shuffle.
This is honestly too good to be teaching on the internet. It belongs buried in a book like Expert Card Technique. Shit.

I just wonder, if we do it to someone who doesn't know how to riffle shuffle, does it still work?

OMGGGG 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It’s a fooler dooler #ripDaryl
You should display something levitating and perhaps a hologram.
Great trick. How would you deal with a spectator who goes down well past all the diamonds?
What if they don't know how to do a riffle shuffle and do an overhand shuffle instead?
Why do you Never show the performance with actual people?
That's brilliant
Thanks! Glad you liked it.
Nonsense... This can go bad if they stop past the diamonds.

No practical tricks...if the spectator hindu shuffle...it will destroy this trick

I disagree...as we are a performer...we must predict what are the audience will do....so when we create the tricks...it must be less & less mistakes
