This was probably one of their best directs in a long time, especially significant with it being the Switch’s endgame. The resurrection of Mario & Luigi, Dragon Quest I-III HD, DKC Returns HD, Marvel VS Capcom Collection, a literal Zelda game, Ace Attorney Investigations Collection, and finally revealing Metroid Prime 4. The Switch is gonna be crossing the finish line with style, which I think hasn’t been done with a Nintendo console since the SNES.
The video was on point as always. I keep imagining that the guys that developed the basketball mode for the sports game are like nintendo's newer hires that got their first chance to develop something. And that is the result. Like a small project delivered where it would have little impact if it goes wrong and people who already enjoy the game will be delighted if it is competent or better.

Anytime someone complaints to Nintendo about "not preserving games" it should be reminded that Nintendo is the only company that keeps the codes of all the games that couch their consoles, even the third party games.
I remember how, despite Square Enix losing the source code for the original Trials of Mana, Nintendo actually had a copy on their servers, and that’s part of the reason why Collection of Mana is a Switch exclusive.
That's basically what my problem with the Nintendo Switch library is like: ports, remakes, and/or remasters. Almost nothing original comes out, and when something original is thrown to the table, it is often mediocre at best or people just didn't care enough, making the games seem like a commercial failure in the eyes of Nintendo.
