People are constantly trauma dumping on eachother too. There's an old man that I know who constantly watches the news and then tells me all the horrible things he sees. I finally told him that I don't want to hear about it and that it does nothing to grow me as a person and theres nothing I can do about it so why tell me? I don't think he had ever even thought about it before. We should he brining eachother UP!

Hi Jillz, I've recently found your channel and incorporated some of your tips into my life. most of the tips cannot be done cold turkey, so this is for the ones reading this. Change on your own tempo, do not rush or you'll crash. start with little things, like your daily skincare, doing your hair daily, changing into 'house clothes' instead of pj's, if you're used to wandering around in pjs/comfy clothes this small step will be already significant. don't feel obliged to start working out daily, you'll not be wanting to work out after day 3/4. start with little walks around the neighborhood. or getting off the train/bus 1 stop early and walking from there. know these tips and make them fit your schedule/lifestyle.
    become yourself 2.0
I've found my true self within the second week of incorporating your tips on 'how to glow up' and 'feminine energy' already harvesting the fruits of these little changes, got asked on a date twice in 2 days and gotten so many compliments. i'm feeling myself and walking around as if I own the space. Thank you truly!
sending you lots of love and good energy and best of vibes🥰

I love this! Can you explain what "house clothes" is, compared to pj's?

    • @pockymonster613
      @pockymonster613 9 месяцев назад +7

@@NicolineNDahl pj's are clothes I sleep in, it used to be just a random tshirt but I started wearing my pj sets for bed only. and my house clothes are clothes I'm comfortable in, I can go to the store with them but not to the office. like a pair of leggings and a shirt/hoodie, or sweats. just the act of changing clothes in the morning (even tho they are not wow) makes a big difference for me. I used to sit at my desk with the tshirt I wore to bed while homeworking. I hope this clarifies it a bit :)

Loved these tips! For other healthcare girlies like myself, I’ve found that clear nail polish, a simple necklace & earrings + fun/cute socks or hair scrunchies/headbands has been a good way for me to feel put together and more myself at work without spending more time in the morning or putting on makeup that is just going to get smeared/sweated off during my shift. Thanks again for these tips!

I'm not allowed nail polish at work due to the infection risk, but you can get some nail buffers that get your nails super shiny and glossy, like you have clear coat on. If safety is an issue (mental health, emergency etc), necklaces are out, but studs or huggies may still be manageable.

I've got one tip for facial care that was a game changer for me. It's pretty obvious, although I'm the only one I know who does this. Always, ALWAYS, wash your hands before touching your face. Doesn't matter if you're washing it, applying serum or popping a black spot - always soap your hands. I've started doing it because I'm allergic but soon enough it improved my skin condition A LOT. And, also - try to not touch your face if you can. Don't scratch it, or whatever, espe, if you can't wash your hands first.

Yes to the Colour Seasons! I had my colours analyzed professionally in June and it helps me so much with shopping and building a wardrobe. Also my make up and nail colour choices have bettered since then.
I'm a Dark Autumn and I generally look better in darker clothes with some lighter details and I'm now trying to embrace it, especially in summer, where I was always so confuse why all the light coloured dresses looked awful on me.

@annesharoy1992 If you Google search for the TCI Colour Poster for Dark Autumn then you'll see a lot of colours. DA colours have an earthy touch to them, they basically look a bit dirty, but on DAs they don't. Think of a Moroccan spice market. Burgundy Red, Wine Red, Mustard yellow, olive green, teal, plum, ..

    • @iguessitslydia

@maicyfrans3780 I agree. I was not sure if I was a Dark Autumn or True Autumn and all my friends said True Autumn, but I always thought somethings was off, but I couldn't find picture of celebrities that looked like me, but where their season was known. Getting it done professionally helps to eliminate all doubts. I also got a colour fan and tips on make up/nails, etc

Last night I watched this and it reminded me of things that I let slack when life gets busy. Immediately after I put on a peel-off face mask, and when that dried I peeled it off and put on a bunch of lotion. When I woke up this morning, I still had like some acne spots, but my skin looked so good compared to before all that that I felt like I'm worth about 30K more than is in my bank account lol. I work a dirty job so I'm not too worried about looking amazing there, so the acne patches are going to hang out on my face while I'm working, but I still made sure to put on mascara eyeshadow and lipstick. Even with the patches, I still look so much better than yesterday! I also made sure to meditate and focus on my druidic path this morning, so all is going well now. Going to tidy a little bit before leaving for work in 15 minutes. Thanks again for your awesome content!

    Glow up tip:
Reduce your sugar intake! I was a HUGE sweets addict, Candy, chocolate, ice cream, cookies, everything!! I decided to cut down (not fully cut out) on sugar, I made healthier choices like subbing candy for Greek yogurt and frozen berries for two weeks and my face got soooooo much slimmer! My whole body was less bloated and more toned! My skin even cleared up! It was really hard to cut down on sugar. I was always craving it, I even got a massive headache for like 2-3 days, but once I reached day 7 it got much easier! I feel so much better and I don’t even crave sweets as much. I literally had coconut cake today and it was so sweet I felt so icky afterwards 😢

I have lived with serious mental illness my whole life and I have never felt beautiful really, sometimes I did but usually I just poured every ounce of energy into surviving and living another day. I often felt I was wearing someone else and that I didn’t know what I really looked like at all.

Jillz I am an astrologer and I have to say, you really embody your Cancer sun and Libra moon. Traditionally, Cancer and the moon represent the body, our bodily cycles and rhythms, and the daily habits we create to nurture ourselves, and Libra and Venus represent beauty, aesthetics, art, and balance. It’s so fascinating that your wisdom and the light you share with the world (sun) is Cancer and it is ruled by your body and rhythms (moon) in Libra. You’re truly living out your life’s path 💖 do you know your rising sign?

@@JillzGuerin oh wow, that is amazing given your background! Aquarius rising puts your Cancer sun in the 6th house of bodily injury and daily work. That is the wisdom and energy you reclaimed when quit your job years ago and healed your body and mind. Aqua rising also puts your Libra moon in the 9th house of higher education, spirituality, long distance travel and all things foreign. This makes sense that you healed your body and found a new joy for life by creating balance and beauty, and that you teach these things in a mentoring role. It also checks out that you prioritize traveling and feel restored from trips with your husband 🥰 as an Aquarius rising pay attention to Saturn in your chart, as it is your chart ruler!

One of the things I noticed that makes most people less attractive is putting on makeup in the wrong shade for you. Get colourmatched to your exact shade and get another one for summer if you tan, but get the right colour and undertone

Jillz, question: how do you get your press on nails to stay on? How long do they last? Do they damage your natural nails? I agree with you.. press ons are really cute!

If you think a clothing item does not suit you perfect but it’s good enough don’t buy it even if it’s dirt cheap. Dive into your wardrobe and donate or upcycle clothes that don’t fit you nicely. For example if the color washes you out dye it. If something is too loose or too long get them tailored. If you can’t upcycle give them to friends and family, sell them online or donate but don’t keep them sitting there on your wardrobee

Daily breast massage. As women, our positive pole in our bodies is through our breasts. If you love your breasts and nurture them they exude radiant energy outward without it coming across as a masculine penetrative energy. Loving our breasts is something so many women struggle with, not only is it healthy for lymph drainage and toning, but it’s also a big confidence booster.

It's hard to embrace the surgical scar on my face. Only able to conceal it by wearing eye glasses, it's the best thing to do since even a thick amount of foundation and concealer will not even improve the look of it.

I am 24 and I do not do make-up (because I am lazy, it takes time and money), do you think it makes me less attractive? Do you think sooner or later I should start to do make-up because people will not take me seriously on the job and etc.?
