You should do a 'campaign' of sorts, chaos vs (imperium/tau/nids/eldar), with the condition that models lost are lost from the campaign until some condition is met. Maybe one battle you field your plague marines, but you get stomped, you wouldn't be able to field them until you had a source of fresh corpses to reanimate. Likewise, if the enemy (swarmlord/baneblade/wraithlord/stormsurge) gets taken down they wouldn't be able to field it next battle.

I have a similar story with my Eldar. I started in 3rd, the lore behind the imperium [and the brokenness of Marines] drew me towards the other race in the Starter set: Dark Eldar. I split the box sets with 3 friends [who a wanted to play Marines, Dark Angels, Blood Angels and a homebrew] with them getting the marines, rulebook, and play equipment, me getting the 16 Warriors and terrain. Those 48 warriors turned into the 3500pt heavily converted Dark eldar that you saw at the first Apocalypticon [I was to the left of Chris and his Eldar Titans]. Since then, Ive added close to 1k Harlequins, 2k Asuryani, and 2k Corsairs [incuding scratch-built Vampire Raider and Tantalus. When I get everything assembed, repaired, painted, and out of storage, It should be about 10k
Dave do you remember years ago around 2009-2010 when you made a temporary video on this channel addressed to Joe about anxiety for the video contest? That's me. I hope you remember:D I had to rewatch all the old terrain videos, chaos black legion and space marine bunker videos for nostalgia. Best wishes
Ok I was going to say I'm close and then you panned the camera over and I had to retype this message. Good lord man...its on now, I'm about half way. Only a few vehicles though. Your models look great. Serves you right for suffering the xeno to live. The Emperor protects!
What's mad is that in the actual 40K universe this isn't even a fraction of a real army, the 40k universe is just so unfathomably big with armies swarming a planet.
@@rupertjoyce2838 you reckon? I know chapters normally deploy small numbers of space marines at a time but I think they would use way more vehicles than this army
Chaos Space Marines don't follow the Codex Astartes since the second founding came after the Horus Heresy (the Heresy was what caused the loyal chapters to be divided up in the first place). The traitor legions are all chapters at full strength. There's roughly 1 million loyal marines left in the galaxy and more traitor legions fled into the Eye of Terror. There's probably 1.25~2 million Chaos Space Marines throughout the galaxy. Even if this were 10,000 Chaos Space Marines in total, that's still less than 1% of all Chaos Marines in existence. But, included in this army are cultists and demons. Normal companies of Chaos Space Marines are organized in the tens of thousands. The Death Guard, for example, organizes their companies into groups of 70,000 marines. Smaller battle companies are then formed from this number. So: a little column A, a little column B. This is definitely large enough to be considered a full battle company of Chaos Undivided, but not enough to make up a regular Great Company that would be involved in conquering a planet. For reference, there were approximately 50,000 Khorne Berserkers from the World Eaters present in the First War for Armageddon in 444.M41. This doesn't include armor, cultists, or demons. The Thousand Sons would later send forces to Armageddon during the Third War, who fought against the various Khorne warbands present in the system.
Awesome video insane amount of bodies imagine showing up to an apocalypse game and one dude places that amount of plastic across from you....I’d throw in the towel there and then man XD quick thought though Dave should write a full campaign about chaos and the treachery of tau! And mission one is him teamed with tau against matts nids again and then mission two is all out war between tau and chaos. Blood for the blood god! SUSHI for the Dave god!

There's a couple of of bigger armies I've seen...seen some giant ass Imperial armies going way past 100K, fairly sure there was more than this. Google "when the craftworld drops by" Dave Drinan has this giant eldar army, though it's being commission painted still, he doesn't have the entire army at his home yet. As for me, I can brag about at least being the biggest Dark Eldar/drukhari player, I have yet to see a bigger army, google "Dark Moon Kabal" (mostly active on Facebook) I'm not sure how much I got, a few years back I had counted it all, I was around 40k
I have almost no motivation to paint the single cadian troop I have assembled out of the pack of 10, its only primed and glued together, and this guy has hundreds of models.
Saw a video from a small RUclipsr named Peter Crawford who had a 450,000 point collection, of course, that point total comes from all of his factions combined so I'm not sure what each individual faction totals
Warhammer $40,000?

This is so awe inspiring! My buddy (who is also a Dave) and I both have approximately 80,000 pts each of Khorne for 40k...and we recently moved to east part of Tennessee. Less than a 12 hour drive up to y'all in Welland, ON, CA! After all this COVID19 crap is over...how about a big FUN battle???
from the Southern Gate of Chaos,
Touradj
The Dark General
wish i could match that but i could probably only get to 20k and thats combining all my imperial armies as one
Just proxy a little bit
Folk, I am overwhelmed! I am not a Chaosfan at all, but this is great Dave! And, my friend, I am sure, you only did this collection for the greater good! :-) Regards from Germany!
Hey, what happened to Deffy?
Dave is truly a champion of the dark gods. Now if I could just get up to Canada and see this with my own 2 lookers. The new bunker should have a display or diorama wall featuring this army, well done sir.
Holy... 80k points chaos army... no one in the club gonna mess with this dude :O
MY RUclips FEED JUST SHOWED ME A MINIWARGAMING VIDEO AFTER YEARS
Hi Dave it's nice to see you again, I missed you.
Dave, see if you can get the official world record!
TingTudi 1733 That’s actually a really good idea- I believe that Guinness still accepts and publishes records and the stories behind them-
I feel like that guy Duncan would clothesline Dave with a whole black crusade though
Was so scared a stray foot might squash those squishy cultists - had to watch to the end just to make sure all was well. Great to be able to come back to this vid after ~2 years
Not a 40k player but wow that is an awesome army.
I love your collection! Thank you for showcasing it! 😊
Man I don't even like Chaos, but this is absolutely impressive! I too have a extreme dislike of Tau.
‘These tau must die. All of them.’
- Cato Sicarius ("Blades of Damocles")
I hate Tau but not as much as Eldar ( if you couldn’t tell I play Necrons)
damn space commies.
My tau will destroy you completely and utterly
Chaos doesn't like you, either
That's me. I hope you remember:D
I had to rewatch all the old terrain videos, chaos black legion and space marine bunker videos for nostalgia.
Best wishes
Hey Joe it's me your cousin, let's go bowling!
I’d love to see Dave’s entire Chaos band vs the rest of the staff with loyalist Legions
All that and the only way you took cadia was by not taking it at all and just blowing it up. For the emperor!!!
Now to run the entire thing upgraded in a multi-day "Beat Dave" fan event where a group need to meet to match and hopefully beat Dave's Chaos tide
Okay, movement phase! ... See you tomorrow!
Ok I was going to say I'm close and then you panned the camera over and I had to retype this message. Good lord man...its on now, I'm about half way. Only a few vehicles though. Your models look great. Serves you right for suffering the xeno to live. The Emperor protects!
Merry Christmas
Nice collection u have there Dave!! Did u ever count how many models do u have?? Plz more Chaos games!!
Image: you trip and fall, crushing your models
Emperor, we know it's you
That would *hurt*
Both body and soul
He's 100% getting impaled
@@000Krim you dont
Man can pit 2 full 40k point 40k armies against eachother. Absolute madlad
What's mad is that in the actual 40K universe this isn't even a fraction of a real army, the 40k universe is just so unfathomably big with armies swarming a planet.
Nah this would be an army in the 40k universe
I mean he’s got several thousand space marines there
And chapter barely ever deploy at full chapter strength even then full company strength is rare
40,000 years later, Dave's grand (to the 8th power twice removed):
"Turn 1, over!"
ive been waiting for this
What an amazing army Dave, it does look chaotic but a really great army to field against other armies with
I wonder how long a 80k point game would take to play?
I did one 2 years ago .... we are currently at turn 3 :)
Just moving them would take a year
What could that 80k army do on the 40k universe? What's the biggest feat than your army could do?
Awesome video insane amount of bodies imagine showing up to an apocalypse game and one dude places that amount of plastic across from you....I’d throw in the towel there and then man XD quick thought though Dave should write a full campaign about chaos and the treachery of tau! And mission one is him teamed with tau against matts nids again and then mission two is all out war between tau and chaos. Blood for the blood god! SUSHI for the Dave god!
A man is trying to field an entire Dark Crusade by himself.
While I have many Armies rangeing in 10.000 Points each, I thought I was insane for haveing 30.000 Points of Salamanders.
Then I see this o. o
If your house burned down, destroying all units stored there, you could laugh it off by telling yourself "the Emperor *had to* exterminatus this heresy!"
How much money would this cost? Looks like 100.000+ $
Happy Slaaneshmas
NOW GIVE ME MORE SLAANESH
Cegorach calls, can you hear his followers laughing footsteps? Greet the followers of slaanesh with a Harlequin's kiss, a gentle caress, or a full embrace.
Meanwhile I’m struggling to prevent my one space marines arms from falling off.
Sounds like how I felt when I first saw 40k orks. Fell in love, didn't care about stats, and needed them all. The rules only made me love them more.
I want to see this whole thing fight an equally insane army. There has to be grabbers and a catwalk involved.
need a damn computer just to count up the dice rolls lol
How big would the table/war Arena need to be to play all this
I have a bigger army , 5 chaos cultists witch are still in the postal system
Your collection is a thing of beauty!!!!!!❤️❤️💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
When you realize it’s exactly all of the 8 traitor legions
There are 9 though,
*I cannot comprehend the level of heresy you’re operating at, Dave*
There's a couple of of bigger armies I've seen...seen some giant ass Imperial armies going way past 100K, fairly sure there was more than this. Google "when the craftworld drops by" Dave Drinan has this giant eldar army, though it's being commission painted still, he doesn't have the entire army at his home yet. As for me, I can brag about at least being the biggest Dark Eldar/drukhari player, I have yet to see a bigger army, google "Dark Moon Kabal" (mostly active on Facebook) I'm not sure how much I got, a few years back I had counted it all, I was around 40k
I've been to Warhammer World whilst it's been busy and this is still the most amount of models I've seen in one place
all I heard towards the end is that there should be a 2v2 daves chaos and tau fighting side by side again
one of the most beautiful armies i have seen!! 80,000 points of just pure unadulterated hate for imperium! love this! All is Dust, such a great army!
I have waited for this video for so long and I am so glad its here
I have almost no motivation to paint the single cadian troop I have assembled out of the pack of 10, its only primed and glued together, and this guy has hundreds of models.
So, my 600 pt space wolves are outmached. I Require immediate reinforcements.
Saw a video from a small RUclipsr named Peter Crawford who had a 450,000 point collection, of course, that point total comes from all of his factions combined so I'm not sure what each individual faction totals
