This "sheikh" is weird - to say the least. He says that the verse 33:49 (the verse of jilbab) is meant only for the ordinary ladies, not for the wives of the Prophet (saws). I am amazed at his ignorance because this verse CLEARLY mentions the wives of the Prophet along with his daighters and other Muslim ladies. Also, the hijab he refers to is actually only the curtain of the Prophet's house (NOT his wives' dress code) where the visitors are asked to use proper mannerism that if they need anything they need to ask his wives from " behind a curtain" and not enter upon them directly (this is common courtesy that should be observed even now by all civilized people when they are visiting someone's home, isn't it?).
This "sheikh" has sold himself to the fairy tales of Bukhari & Co to the extent that he routinely violates the the Qur'an. Does the Qur'an ever say that the Messenger of Allah (swt) had the authority to "guarantee Jinnah" to anyone? This sheikh has already guaranteed Jannah to so many people through the Prophet!!! He (swt), allegedly, has guaranteed Jannah to Uthman Ibn Affan at no less than four occasions... in Ashra Mubasharah, donating a well of sweat water, financing Tabook expedition, and purchasing stores of grain for the needy. These are all excellent deeds worth a lot of Divine Mercy, but no one has the authority to "guarantee Jannah" other than Allah, the Most High.
Then there are lots of other hypes and senseless exaggerations he is particularly given to in all his lectures, not just this one...not to mention Prophet's predictions about the futures of sahaba including their martyrdom along with other details of events. Looks like Bukhari & Co have been writing all this "after the fact" predictions while sitting comfortably in their drawing rooms under the tutelage of the Abbasid khurafa. The purpose? To glorify some Companions (Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman) and to water down the significance of Ali Ibn Abi Talib ..... this sheikh is a true Saudi stooge... a funny chimera of some truth and loads of falsehood. Then he cannot pin point whether it was Jabal Noor or Uhud which shook in the presence of the first three caliphs minus one (Ali). You see this "MINUS ONE" formula in his lectures over and over again.... as if this "sheikh" (for lack if a better term) has a well-defined mission...to spread hate against the folks he calls "the other party".
These lectures are clear violations of many of the Qur'anic teachings. Interestingly, he calls these violations "deriving FIQH". He doesn't derive FIQH from the Qur'an, but from Bukhari & Co!!!
The last time I looked for Bukhari & Co, I did not find them anywhere....nor did I find Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali in the Qur'an etc. I did find Zayd, though, but this sheikh doesn't seem to care for him as much as he cares fThis "sheikh" is weird - to say the least. @Mo Uddin محمد Yes, bro, you are correct. I have "critically" watched many of his YQ's videos. As you perhaps know, most of his audience cannot answer even simple questions when YQ asks them. YQ often expresses his disappointment with his students. This tells me they have already taken their brains out of their skulls and put them on the shoe rack of the mosque.
Between you and me.... I watch YQ's videos because he has a huge influence in the world on those who are lazy bums that cannot open the Qur'an and study it themselves using their own God-given intellect. They are the VAST majority, so does Allah's Book tells me (6:114). So, I want to tell the world why this - once great Ummah - has been going down the tubes for centuries now. I am diagnosing the real ill behind the scenes that has been eating away at the collective body - the wrong, misleading, and conjectural Islamic education that our "Islamic shuyukh" like YQ have been and continue to put out.
Enough said. Now please write back and tell me what it is exactly that you do not agree with in my earlier post. Please be civil and avoid foul language. Users of the foul language tell the world a lot more about themselves, rather than about their addressees.

    • @ahfauq

@Mo Uddin محمد My ideology is simple. If I stay away from the Qur'an or disregard it, and start looking for the Light the Divine Guidance elsewhere - in books OTHER than the Qur'an - I will be committing great shirk and I will be a loser Here as well as in the Hereafter! I believe everything I need for myself to be successful in THIS world and the NEXT, is fully described in the Qur'an.
That said, I can believe anything to be possibly true outside of the Qur'an ONLY and ONLY if it is fully consistent with the Qur'an.
My teacher, you ask: my teacher is Allah who teaches me from his Book. This is the Book that the Final Prophet of Allah (sws) was taught by Allah and this is the Book that he left for us when he left this mortal world. Qur'an is the Book that he followed all his life, and the Qur'an is the Book his followers must follow. The Sunnah and Hadith of the Prophet (sws) are already embedded inside the Qur'an. If we can't find it, we are 'clinically' blind.
      I hope it helps.

@@ahfauq So what I am getting out of your comments is that you do not rely on a Sheykh and just read and teach everything yourself?
