God is good all the time! I'm also having genetic testing next Friday (9-6). They recommended it because my twin sister had the same cancer and there's quite a bit of cancer in my family, though my sister and I were the only ones so far with breast cancer. I do have nieces though and I worry for them. I was never able to have children, unfortunately.
Thank you so much! 😊💕🙏🏻 I try my best to take things one day at a time & I always put my “wins” (big or small) in my win bank. It really helps! Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving! 🥰
Just finished my second AC yesterday. First one no symptoms, hopefully the 2nd,3rd,4th will be the same fingers crossed. I also drink a gallon water a day try to eat as healthy as possible. Just watched your surgery video. Your a positive inspiration so glad I found your journey to watch and learn from.
Hi! That’s excellent news to hear that you are doing so well on your AC treatment so far! Thank you for sharing that with me. I have a good feeling that it will continue for your remaining AC treatments - you’re doing great taking such good care of your body too, and giving it everything that it needs to be strong & healthy. Keep doing that & your side effects will be minimal or nonexistent😊💕 I’m very proud of you & happy for you!
Oh no, I’m so sorry to hear that! I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous/worried about switching to Taxol. My oncology nurse said a lot of patients tolerate it pretty well but some do have a bad reaction and have to switch to a different chemo drug. I’m hoping that my body handles it well but - who knows! 🙏🏻💕 I’m ready to ice my hands & feet!
@@ana5130Aww, it’s ok to cry. I can totally understand why you’re upset. I would be too! But just know that you’re in good hands at the infusion center. The nurses are trained to help with any reactions and keep you safe during treatment. My nurse told me “if you are going to have a reaction it will happen the first or second time and then your body is used to it by the 3rd time (or, your oncologist may switch you to a different taxol drug if it’s a severe reaction)” every (body) is different. And usually it’s the plant that taxol is made from that causes the reaction. Not the taxol itself. Like whatever it’s mixed with is what causes some patients to have an allergic reaction she told me. I will be praying for you that you do well at your next treatment. Stay hydrated, try to stay positive (I know it’s hard), and just know that you’re in good hands there. It will get better and it will be all over one day. You are a warrior! I’m so proud of you 😊💕🙏🏻 Hang in there
