A warm welcome! It must be very hard to start with and it does take time but being exposed to a new culture and a new language is a great social gift!
As an English speaker learning Lithuanian, I found the direct object of a negative verb is in the genitive case to be very interesting. I e Aš matau namą, aš nematau namo.
