- Prime Garry Kasparov was a legend in the making! This game tiptoes on brilliancy with dazzling calculative lines to outplay a World Champion sitting at his opposition.

The chess nerd: He plays a MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stockfish: Excellent move!👍
BRO TRYNA SAVE ELECTRICITY BILLS 😭😭😭😭
*respect*😂😂😂
Where
Oh Nevermind
I was Just 30 seconds away from the last part
If this game was played today Kramnik would be “running the procedure”
I really like your vibe in your videos, so chill and full of genuine kindness 🥰
Thank you ❤️
Someone has a crush on the chess nerd.
@@user-tl2qw6jh9y he kinda looks like young mikhail tal if i am being honest
You are so amiable and positive, the vibe is so calm. During the war in my country that's like a fresh breath take to me. Even it's just a chess video. Thank you for making my day
💪
Tf are you on about? I Totally do Not like this person, on the Contrary. He's like mr. who's the boss, only that individual is smarter.
Tf is to smile about? I came here to see a chess game, not to laugh like one of mr. bean's retarded fans.
Always enjoy the content, what a crazy game. 🎉
7:24 was a pretty cool analysis on the potential combination, Ne6 was really genius move played, too bad it didn't pan out as predicted it would have been awesome!
Overall, great moves played by both players, although Kasparov sacrificing the queen was savage! And the endgame was wild!
This is crazy Chess. The insight to see these moves from Garry Kasparov is amazing. Love your videos!
Thank you Mark!
I also spotted a way to win the game on move 17. The game lasted 18 moves.
This is why Garry Kasparov is the goat!
Magnus ?
@@amararabyiehnot retired yet
Don't forget Mikhil tal
@@Chris.Mand therefore he’s not the goat? That’s illogical
@manishchoudhary6404 After his retirement, it will settle down, and we can decide clearly. Who can say if Magnus was better than Kasparov or the opposite.
as soon as you said 1994 i knew which game this would be, lol
yeah this game is completely nuts.
What an amazing combination of pieces - and an amazing video too!
Truly
underrated channel !
The book moves were more than the moves it takes me resign every game😂😅
This guy destroyed KRAMNIK and topalov like they were toddlers
What a beautiful bishop sacrifice at the end. Gary karspov has such an amazing eye
Garry took him into the deep dark forest
I am the Cantonese guy😂😂, really like the editing style of this video. Great content and explorations about unknown but decent chess games. Hope you have a sweet, sweet trip ❤
I see many many games of my idol Kasparov and this one i never see, this is maybe his best!Thank you to share this Zach!🎉
This is why Zach is the goat of chess RUclips 🐐
underrated game
15:15 Bishop G6#
16:00, this is the hardest move to find in the entire game.
Is that sarcasm
I found it the minute he asked queen trade
i really hope this is sarcasm cause i found that move instantly.. it was not such a hard move to find..
@@coolkid69720 I think I meant psychologically, but even if I were tired this would be an easy move to find. You'd have to ask me from eight months ago to elaborate.
Great commentary my man, keep up the good work. I had never seen this game before, what a great combination!
I remember pllaying all of Kasparov games before this one is one of my fav
Glad we concur, so definitely his most underrated game eh?
@@thechessnerd Yes it is .. He actually taught me the rook lift and the early h4 move.
I win lot of games because of this .
I'm sorry I'm not good at chess but wasn't there a forced check mate at 7:00
Chess is the greatest indoor game in history..
Normal, Human players are after enemy queen finding her attractive. Great players are after enemy king sacrificing their own queen but getting the entire empire including enemy queen.. This is one of the best chess games I have ever seen. These guys are not called as "Grand Master" just like that... The black has just witnessed a Holy Fuck.. I always loved the Knights. They are the pieces that provide the entertainment in the game. Others are just straight forward combinations. Thanks a LOT for the video...
This reflects life actually... When your in trouble, your own people can be your enemies.. King tries to run but your own peaces occupies escape squares " 🙂
12:00 when you can get a rook for knight while breaking their pawn structure but you hate knights so much
The pawn will take your rook and that's called a trade
@@user-lv2br5jv9q Which pawn ? which Rook ? black rook took bishop & White knight took black knight instead of taking the rook. And my eyes can not find which rook is under attacked by a pawn. 12:07
I watch your videos just before bed so I can sleep with a smile on my face. Enthusiasm, fun and oh, a bit of education. Brilliant.
What do you mean by "I will be in the dark"?
Blud put 6'5 in the mans stats. based
Garry is worse than me, I can see the end at move 3(my opponent blundered the scholar mate)
At 5:07 what about knight from c2 to e3, attacking the queen with tempo and defending the vurnerable pawn the queen was attacking?
Thank you for sharing this amazing game !
Under rated?? Maybe for us newbies. Love your charisma man. Great job.
How did the opponent blunder the queen last move that's just crazy to mr
Great video! Love the enthusiasm
how many book moves are there bro wth
Gary Kasperov prime xD
instead of ne7 g6 is the mainline
On move 17(after qxd5) Kasparov should have played bxh7 (discover attack)
Great video. I remember being completely bamboozled when I first say this game. It’s always been one of my favourites 🎉
how could I guess the last four moves ?
Such a joy to watch!!
Love your content brother
simply amazing game
Question what board color do you use? It looks great and my eyes see alot more than usual
Hadn't thought of that but good point, it does make it easy to focus.
I usually play with white and blue board cause i like blue but it looks way more jumbled than this.
Hi, love your content. Have you been doing other stuff on youtube, not chess related? Me and my son we are sure that we know you but cannot quite remember from where. Ty and bye
Amazing edit
Also in amsterdam! Wanna do a bit of chess with a fan?
I'm sure many found bd7
Your english is so good dude, i only just started noticing it isn't your native language with things like 'black are beginning to open the centre'.
Other than them minor grammatical mistakes it sounds clearer than a native English speaker.
Hi chess nerd! Keep up the great work! You're the best chess youtuber out there! Hope you have a good day!
That last move was a horrible move ,i mean why would he trade queens
But how tall is Kasparov?
Please share the game pgn in your every video.
how was this video uploaded 15 years ago
What do you mean?
@@Thinkingboutit7777 Bro
Amazing vid❤
Great
Thanks Paulo :)
What happened to your lip?
Why do you have eyebags
wow
Underrated? More like unrated, no one really talked about this game and used this game as teaching content in a book or content anywhere on youtube
It's funny, I always check to see if a big name content creator has analyzed the game I want to analyze before filming and to my surprise some masterpieces are largely uncovered. More to come.
@@thechessnerd can't wait for more "unknown" and great content ;)
wonder why those moves werent brilliant
1st person here

Hii bro, I am from India and I am very poor . I want to pursue chess further but I don't even have a chess board , can you please give one to me , even a very cheap one will also be OK, or at least give me a shout out in your next video love you ❤❤❤❤❤
Hohoho I saw the sequence (including Bxf5+ first before taking Bxe6) not the whole line in a go, but I saw hxf6, Rxh7 was winning instead of moving the white queen, sacrificing (kinda?) both the queen and the rook and still be winning in the aftermath!
Nice game overall by Gary!!
I still believe it's harder to get into that position (before Gary played h5, I'm terrible in the opening that's why 😢🥲) rather than this whole brilliant sequence!!
that was a great game
Love your videos, I have an interesting chess puzzle from the 1960's with an interesting story about it. If you send me an email address I can send you the item to feature on your channel
