    Wow! I'm sitting here with my mouth open and I'm more than thrilled! It's really not enough to pick everything up. You also need the "right eye" to combine all parts decoratively. You can do it perfectly! I think the idea of using the color spray is brilliant and ALL the parts are grandiose and put together to form a fantastic work of art. I am speechless and more than fascinated! Thank you for this wonderful inspiration. ❤👍 Hugs vom Tinchen

      Thank you so much Tinchen. I so appreciate your enthusiastic responds. I think having the "right eye" is trainable, if you immerse yourself in an art form and enjoy experimenting. I don't always place things just right ,it's a process of re doing and trying different things, that's why my footage is always way long and needs lots of chopping. LOL I am so pleased that you enjoy this piece and that it provides inspiration. LG Talk to you soon. : )

    Wow wow wow. So awesome. Every assemblage you make, I always think it's the best one you've done so far. But of course I think this is the best one so far! Lol. One day i hope you tackle a life size assemblage. Oh my gosh that would be way too cool! Imagine how long it would take and the amount of bits and bobs you'd need! Maybe we could all start sending you happy mails full of strange things lol 😃😊💚💚💚

      @InaSolsberyartroom  4 года назад +1

      Thanks so much Bonny. 😊I appreciate your enthusiasm for my assemblages. I want to create more like this one, where the original shape is mainly just a base to work from. Life size anything would take a long time and would be rather big an heavy. I think I stick with the manageable stuff for now. LOL
      I am lucky, as I do get happy mails and friends bring stuff over. Sadly shipping from abroad is too expensive. Would be fun to get international junk. HAHA

    Oh my...I am totally gobsmacked and mesmerized by this!!! By far my favorite of all of your assemblages as it is so inline with my love of steampunk! Thank you so very much ChrisAnn for your enthusiastic feedback. I very much appreciate it. I am glad you caught the assemblage bug, You do amazing work and judging from the beautiful art I have seen from you so far, assemblages might be right up your alley. Simple or elaborate, both can be very cool. I like all types, painted or unpainted, free standing ,hanging, vintage, modern....what I decide to work on mostly depends on my junk LOL Sometimes just 1 interesting piece gets me started. I am pleased you like the way this one turned out. : )

      @@InaSolsberyartroom thank you for your kind words, as you well know I have had serious struggles this year with my creative mojo. Since I do not have any stashes of 'junk' and things to play with as you do, I assumed assemblages was not something for me. And I could not see a use for making 'things' that just sat around as I have limited space...however the lightbulb came on and I envisioned how an assemblage piece could be part of other projects I am working on, so I am excited to give it a go! Thank you for being such an inspiration.💜

    Ina...I watched this early this morning, though couldn't get around to the comment until tonight! It's been that kinda day! I love watching you put this together and am amazed at the little details that went into it! Every single piece you added had thought behind it...and you would never imagine that crazy conglomeration would turn out so cool as an assmblage piece that makes sense! I really love the way your mind works and am always enchanted watching you put it all together. Thanks for the reminder to watch...so sorry you even had to do that! I love watching your videos and seeing your work! Can we really call it work? I think not!

      Thanks so much for taking time to watch and comment. And yes my work is my joy, these assemblage pieces are so much fun to put together. I am pleased you like the outcome of this one. So far I created my assemblages either in boxes, frames etc. or I alter an object, that is still recognizable even after I torment it with bits and bobs. This one was a bit different ,took longer to complete...but it opened a whole new avenue for me to create a new shape and purpose from a simple solid foundation of insignificant appearance. Wanna do more. LOL Thanks so very much Denise, always a pleasure to hear from you. I appreciate your feedback. Stay busy...but not too busy. : )

    I´m not sure where your passion will bring you, it looks like there is nothing that will stop you, it wouldn´t surprise me to find Lady Liberty one day covered in "bits and bobs" just to make her look nice. 😂I´m pretty impressed by this piece, I could see it made into a table lamp. I get the impression that E6000 would be able to just stay in business because of you.

      We shall see...I definitely want to continue this type of art. It's way too much fun for me...Statue of Liberty....mmmh....if she could fit in my art room ,I would. LOL
      I am toying with the idea to write Eclectic Products (they make E 6000) to see if they give me some freebies. I use way too much of that stuff and it's costly. Thankfully everything else I use on these assemblage was free or just cost me pennies. Thanks so much for watching Andrea. I always appreciate hearing from you. : )

Thankfully there is a Thrift store not far, where you pay by weight...very cheap, plus I go to garage sales etc. But you can use ordinary ,simple every day items to make cool assemblages.( bottle tops, buttons, paper clips, packaging etc. Start collecting. Next month 4 core will be an assemblage project. Ha Give it a go. : )
