- This video is from our trip August 5th out Manistee, MI. We had a crazy morning bite so a lot of the footage is dark and a little bit hectic but it was fun to see how crazy salmon fishing can be at times. We were also lucky enough to run into a few steelhead (rainbow trout) on their trip. Please leave and feedback for future videos in the comments.

Yes sir! I have a musselhead meadtrig in the water every trip that I run. I will sprinkle in a few other brands here and there but I have a musselhead on my downrigger 100% of the time I’m on the water.
@@jaredjbakerable , nice man! Like you, they are pretty much the only brand of meatrig we run as well. Do really well on them in our 300 and 400 coppers. Emerald Shiner and Frankenstein have been lights out for us. Good luck this season!
