actually during my intern time i rmb one of my colleague actually stay in seremban and we work in KL Sentral she used to take ktm for going to work and back to home sometimes she late due to ktm messy schedule and it took her around hour for commuting one wat
I am a daily traveler from Seremban to KL since my uni days from 2015 until now. Although there are times the jam can be more than 2 hours and I would be late for work, having flexible working hours is really the key point in making this happened. Imagine, driving halfway and forget to bring a document or laptop, you can just call an EL as its not worth the drive. Despite that, as a Seremban boy. Having a more laid back city such as Seremban do make a different compared to the stress living in KL. That 1 hour drive to make it more productive, you may turn on some podcast and also a good quiet time for you to think about the day or solutions to the problems you have which I feel what I enjoyed the most during that drive. There are times, I am too tired to drive back or feel sleepy to drive. I will stop by the RNR to have a quite drink or bite or maybe a short nap in the car. Just hope that you are not having a bad stomach ache when you are stuck in the jam. Its truly a very "enduring" experience. I here pray hope the daily travelers like me have a very safe drive back and forth and proud to be one of them! Cheers!
i dont get the whole thing about coming back home after work to a more chill place. most of the time you get home after sunset and by the time you eat dinner you are left about an hour or so before you have to sleep (which most people will dedicate to resting at home) and wake up early the next day only to leave to KL first thing. realistically you only are able to live/enjoy the area during the weekends.
That is because you are not use to coming home early. For me, my work place is 5-10 min away. I finish work at 4pm and by 4.15pm, I am already at tennis court playing tennis. Then I will come home, enjoy dinner, go out for shopping, do some work, watch netflix until 12 or 12.30 am before going to sleep. Then I can wake up at 8am and go to my office. Life is so different if you have that time other than wasting it on the road.
Me & my family currently living in Seremban for 12 years now. My mum still works in KL, pre covid she just take the bus to KL @ 6am. Pretty much zero stress there since she just sleeps on the bus. Covid times, she drives to KL. I also started working in KL and drive to KL 2 days a week.. All I can say Seremban is very much cheaper compared to KL. We are happy with our landed Semi-D house here with plenty of space for activities, where if we were to stay in KL our house would only be a terrace house. TLDR , my office mate from Cheras BT9 takes 1.5 hrs to go to Mid Valley office where I’m from Seremban also take 1.5 hrs 😂
@@EePingLiang my office mate from Setia Alam takes 1hr 15 mins to reach office, Bangi one takes 1 hr 15 mins and the list goes on and on. The problem here is once you reach Sg. Besi you are fucked 🤣 . I am blessed that I have a good car with proper working a/c and nice speakers to keep me accompanied
Used to live in Taman Connaught, Cheras and have to drive an hour just to get to office near Petronas Twin Towers, eventhough during non traffic hours it will probably take 20 minutes at most. I know have move elsewhere where I can just walk to the train station. The key is, try to find work & house where there is good train connectivity.
@@secrets.295 pre-covid it took me 45 mins to go to work at Mid Valley from seremban, now it takes 1.5hrs :’) .. Won’t be moving to KL since houses there costs more than my limbs and soul
1.5 hrs each way X 2 = 3 hrs 3 hrs X 5 days a week = 15 hrs 15 hrs X 4 Weeks (a month) = 60 hrs 60 hrs X 12 months ( a year) = 720 hrs 720 hrs = 30 days That’s 30 days (1 month) of driving consecutively on the road a year, yikes ! Mad respect to those who do this.
honesty hated driving anything longer than 20 minutes to work that extends to 30 minutes with jam. ever since i got a fully wfh with flexible schedule, i just realize how much free time i lost working in that previous job. sendayan looks like an awesome place to live in though.
it really is i rented at sendayan and im loving the surrounding its really peaceful. tho the downside is no nearby mcd and few franchises it like 15 minutes drive for the nearest
Should have experimented with Monday to Wednesday instead of Thursday to Saturday (for a 3 day experiment) to get a better representation of the work-life/lifestyle balance. There is a real difference between the traffic situation depending on the day of the week.
Totally agree with you. The experiment doesn't hold its water with such a short test, and should do various timing departures and returns to evaluate the actual lifestyle.
I work in Seremban, at ON SEMICONDUCTOR.. But since I work in shift 12 hours a day. I opt to rent a room in Senawang because especially after night shift when work ends at 6am in the morning, after 12 hours of work, and your brains tend to shut down due to havent sleep for 12 hours, its pretty dangerous to travel to KL after night shift.. I had few colics which had their car turn in the air 6 times and crashing after night shift... so please be careful.. JUST REMEMBER THIS GOLDEN RULE OF THUMB..LIVE WHERE YOU WORK, AND NOT WORK WHERE YOU LIVE..
Honestly I just want more efficient and reliable public transportations. Imagine if KTM could be utilised properly with frequent buses around Seremban. It's possible to live in Seremban and work in KL. Lesser cost and hassle too. And you can actually do something while on commute.
I assume that your marketing for the developers. I’m from Seremban the salaries are lower here for most of ppl here it’s hard Seremban ppl own a property at Seremban cause the property price went out but it’s reasonable price for From ppl KL or Petaling Jaya. Soon Seremban also become place which expensive lifestyle, it’s my point of view from my experience.
The Sungai Besi toll area is nutz. Doesn't matter you go there before 7, or after 9, you will still ended up slowing down somewhere past that. That's also where everyone using the Touch n Go lane on the left (easy to cilok2 apparently) because they know, those that used the RFID and the Smart Tag on the right lane will not move an inch after they pass that toll. I'm glad my workplace still doing the hybrid thing where I don't have to come to the office, driving from Nilai as often, but damn, can't imagine you guys doing this for 5 days straight, especially who lives further like Seremban. Take care everyone!
So true, i used to stuck at rfid lane for 2.5hrs eventho I come from Bangi at 6.45a.m. The only choice is to uturn and change route go to different highways and add another 45mins. Worst is no any accident at the Sungai Besi toll but get you stuck for 3hrs.
I only take 15 mins to work. Leave my place at 8.15, reach at 8.30. It’s a bliss, you get to spend your time doing other things. I used to live an hour away from work and now when I think back, couldn’t imagine how I did it
I was born-raised-work in Klang Valley. Since I was 20 years old I lived in an apartment after moving out of my parents' house to be independent. Honestly, I can't afford a landed house in Klang Valley. But I'm sick and tired of living in apartments. After getting married I bought a landed house and settled down in Seremban. I work in PJ and I'm lucky that my working hours are flexible: 2 days work at home; 3 days at the office. But I'm not stupid to commute by car. I take the KTM Komuter: Save money and energy; I can take a nap and relax. And again I'm so lucky that my home and office is only a 10 minute walk to the KTM station. Why Seremban: 1. Less traffic, less busy. 2. "Balik Kampung" in the opposite direction. 3. Lower crime rate, lower population. 4. Slightly lower cost of living. 5. There are some of the best schools in Malaysia. 6. Centered between KL-Melaka-PD-KLIA. 7. Close to my in-laws where they can take care of my children (I don't really trust babysitters). If you like tourists and nightlife, this is not the place. Seremban is a quiet home family town for me.
If youve been a native serembanian youd realise theres nothing much of a progress in terms of public transportation or job opportunities as most of the big company offices are located in the klang valley regions. Be it SPM or Degree holder your educational background makes no difference if you choose to work in seremban. Very low pay
@@naznazrin8588 I agree with you. Klang Valley is like a gold mine - "the California of Malaysia". Most of the high salaries and uncommon jobs are based in Klang Valley and that leads young Serembanians to work in KV. Not only people from Negeri Sembilan but the whole Southeast Asia.
I used to do this, except that I live in KL and worked in Nilai. I enjoy the morning trip, as it was less hectic (no traffic jam except near Connaught) but I dreaded the drive home. Funnily enough, it is faster to drive to Negeri Sembilan than driving to some places in KL/Selangor
Seremban local here. If you are seriously considering purchasing a property at Sendayan, be ready to fork out approx RM700++ for petrol and toll monthly. The prices of homes here are similar to Klang Valley. The only difference is that you're paying the same price for landed properties in Seremban. However, if you're under budget, there are plenty of good sub-sale properties closer to the town. It'll save you more money because instead of driving, you can always opt to travel via KTM which is cheaper and safer.
That’s right, I don’t understand how people would think Seremban property prices are cheaper. S2/BSS fetch the same price as Klang Valley and in turn only offers land size, most of the time not even full furnished. The same budget used for S2/BSS property could even get sub sale landed property in places like Jalan Ipoh, USJ, Shah Alam etc. Not forgetting that Seremban traffic can be just as bad during peak hours
My family have lived in Seremban since forever. During my uni days, i would travel back & forth to KL for classes. Sometimes it could be a sleepy drive back especially during the peak hours. But, honestly i enjoyed the drive as i love driving. Now im married, and currently staying in Selangor, i'll try to make an effort to just go back to Seremban every weekend. Its just so relaxing and very affordable. Would love to retire in Seremban.
I work near KLCC and living in Bandar Sri Sendayan . I travel according to my mood. Most of the time by bike, and sometimes by car. Although it's tiring to travel up and down on daily basis, the comfort of living in a landed house is rewarding for people who has family with children. The day care here is not as expensive as in KL. And the traffic jam on weekend not as bad as KL. But, warning for people who think can make quick buck from investing short term. BSS house prices stagnent for almost 10 years. So buy if you gonna stay, or if wanna invest, need to hold long term the units. And alot of unit is available for rent half the price. Some corner lot rent is 24 by 80 is RM 1.5K🙀. I used to pay that for my amaya maluri master room last time when I stay in KL. Above are only My personal opinion🙏
I grew up in Seremban and fast forward, I am now one of who travel daily to KL area to work. If driving I will go out 5.30 am to avoid the traffic (less than 1 hour) and given the flexible working hours, I will go back around 4.30 pm also to avoid traffic (around 1 hour 15 minutes). My 2nd alternative is special charter express bus that departs as early as 6.15 am (max 3 buses only), so can save money a lot compare to drive, plus can sleep all the way until reach office area, and going back will be via the same bus. My 3rd alternative is normal express bus (many buses available) however when reach KL, will have to change to LRT to reach office, and going back need to take LRT to take bus in Pudu Sentral. 4th alternative will be via KTM Komuter then change to LRT at KL Sentral, and going back is vice versa. Therefore, except for driving, there are several options and combinations if daily commute via public transportation. Cheers to all fellow Serembanians and safe travel:)
It's not about the lifestyle they want. Tapi sebab kos berkeluarga. Walaupun penat, habis masa atas jalanraya. Tapi sekurang-kurangnya keluarga, anak bini hidup rumah selesa, cukup makan pakai di area yang lebih berpatutan.
From what I see you only did 1 - 2 days travel from Seremban to KL and you are doing it like a tourist that doesn't reflect the real hassle of travelling. This is more like a sponsored video to promote Bandar Sri Sendayan and not much of an education or tips video. I was born and raised in Seremban and work in KL for more than a decade and also did 8 years of daily travel by car / bus / KTM - MRT - LRT - ERL from Seremban to Cyberjaya / PJ / KL for various jobs. After those years of travelling I decided to move to KL as it is physically and mentally exhausting and it starts to affect my work performance. Weekends are not enjoyable as it is too tiring to do anything because of that 5 days travelling and it get worst when you start to age and not to mention when you have a family. So it depends on what you really want, yes I can save more money if I were to stay in Seremban and travel daily but my poor performance at work will eat up my pay raise and promotion as it affects my work performance. I prefer to go all out to earn more money than saving some money. As a matter of fact my salary has increased 50% after I move to KL. It depends if you want to conservatively saving more money or actively earn more money.
Commute from Seremban to Subang on daily basis. I choose to ride to office rather than driving. The only concern is morning weather, after office hours weather does not matter.. 😁🤣
I live in Rembau and work at Bukit Jalil for last two years (family reason). Travel daily by car. Already got used to this routine. The main concern are the expenses for daily fuel and tolls. Spending almost 1K monthly for them. So in my opinion, if you working in KL and live outside, your financial planning are very important.Need to have strong income with wise spending attitude.
I live in Bandar Sri Sendayan and was commuting to Bangsar South. The commute was around one hour depending on the weather and traffic. We worked from home on Fridays so we can go to the pasar malam in the evening. Seremban is much cheaper than KL and we enjoy the clubhouse and restaurants here.
Am from Sban, traveled with bike for straight 2 years to KL to work. IMO, if you got no commitment back in Sban then forget about travelling like this. You will lose quality life. You will realized that when you reach home, the time you need to rest is limited then you have to wake up early to travel or else you're gonna stuck at Sg Besi. Ever since I got my new house in Taman Desa, my starting work time is 9 and I can just wake up at 8:30 slow slow prepare even then able to reach Mont Kiara just before 9. Thinking back, it's like nightmare. Almost like Johor-Singapore kinda life.
I always go back Seremban on the weekend as much as I could for the past 6 years ever since I started full time work in Selangor. Mostly because Seremban still has that chill vibe which is good from destressing from the usual hectic lifestyle in Selangor. Probably why most of us don't mind travelling for that reason
1 hour + travelling is not so bad. In KL/PJ u can stuck in an hour jam literally anytime. The only downside is the toll and petrol. Travelling cost will be massive. I used to work a mere 11 km away and it took me almost an hour to reach home after work.
Interesting video. When i was studying, Kl-Seremban highway was my daily route and the only stressful thing to me was the drive after Sg Besi toll 🤣🤣 tbh Seremban also getting crowded nowadays lol
Thank you for making this video. But it seems to me this kind of lifestyle is more suitable for either fresh graduates or T20 people. For people with family, this is wasting too much time on traveling.
A total nono for working parents. We cherish the time with our kids and 3-4 hours commuting a day would basically leave no room to check on their homework/ chit chat with them and play time. There were also times we have to join after work sessions with colleague for networking.
My situation is much better because I live in kl and travel everyday to Kajang for work. Traveling to kl from Seremban is really crazy, especially if you have intensive labour work like me everyday. I am a construction worker btw. The oil is quite expensive these days to travel a long way to work everyday.
sy stay n keje di seremban..pernah ada tugas 3 bulan di kl..ulang alik setiap hari..mula2 bawa kereta sendiri pastu guna pengangkutan awam..pergi gelap balik gelap..kesimpulannya tiada masa utk diri sendiri n keluarga..kepada yg berulang alik setiap hari selama bertahun2 tu anda memang kuat
Teman dulu kije kat KL tingge di TM,Perak, berulang hampior 20 taun,ari2x naik bas pukoi 6 ato 7 pagi balik libehkurang pukoi 9 ato 10 mlm, skrg dah 10 taun penchen baru legio di ati!!!!
Should at least do this for 1 week so you can tell the road condition over a week. Plus should put the time at each time point of the day. Like what time you left your hotel, what time you reach KL and what time you reach your office. What time you left work, how much time you spend chilling around KL.
Back in the 1980s, my colleague used to travel from Seremban to KL and back daily for work. That was before the NS Highway existed. He used to leave home before 6am and returned home around 8pm daily.
At least there was the Federal Highway. I remembered in 1994-97, my commute from Bandar Sungai Long to KL every morning used to take around the same time as the old Cheras-Kajang road was the only way.
When my family live in Taman Bukit Chedang Rasah in 1984, my father office is at Wisma Sime Darby Jalan Raja Laut. He will wake up as early as 5 am to get to terminal 1 seremban to catch cekap express bus or SKS bus to kl, he will arrive office on time and arrive home before 7.
I still don't get why people do this. Especially the one that works in KL and bought a house outside KL just because they wanted a landed house that they can afford. Seremban lah, Semenyih lah, Kajang lah, Rawang lah. Ewwww.. If they can afford landed house outside KL, means they can afford a smaller house in KL, which is clearly a better choice. Renting is also an exceptionally viable choice, stop it with the FOMO and the need to "feel ownership" and shit. 4-6 hours spent EVERY SINGLE DAY just so you could sleep on a landed house. People also did not count the mental toll that will affect their stress level and mental health as they do this every day. Not to mention the traffic they're contributing by doing this. STAY CLOSE TO YOUR WORKPLACE PEOPLE!!
there’s no guarantee that your office will not change location.. Just stay outside of KL and buy yourself a nice car to endure the jam.. At least that’s what I did
@@ahmadfrhn97 There's no guarantee you will stay working around KL either. You could be thrown to Perlis, Borneo, or even overseas. This is why rental is the viable choice. Plus, if I were to buy a condo in KL, and happened to move to work somewhere far, I'll just rent out my unit no problem, can even make some extra money along the way. But if its outside KL, good luck finding a tenant willing to pay what your installment costs. And good luck selling it off above market rate and bear all the costs and fees, you'll end up losing money. I have a friend that bought a "landed" house in Puncak Alam but works nowhere there. Had to rent it out at a lost every month. No way of selling either cus he needs to fork out MORE money for that. Now he's trapped. He had to lower the rate just to get a tenant since this kind of property is bersepah outside KL. This is basically daylight robbery, trapping people to such high-risk commitment that could affect their life till their death.
Some people just want cheaper house at seremban, if their jobs can't claim the toll and petrol fees they will be shit. Car running cost(high mileage and fast tyres wear) still high for them to travel 2 places. Those costs will increasing yearly. For long run KL property still more worthy
I do it everyday lol and yes.. we spend time in KL on Friday before going back.. tbh.. it is tiring to travel up and down and face the jam.. + the houses in KL so expensive is not helping.. + very old school management style company making it hard with their fixed working time..
Woah ur a hero. This daily journey is not easy. I sometimes wonder if I live in cheras or kajang. I kinda don’t make too much difference Cz once pass kajang it’s pretty smooth drive. All the jam is in Klang valley
@@MrMoneyTV is in Cheras or Kajang it will be shorter distance and shorter travel time.. because let’s say I work in KL and I stay at Seremban 2.. it would take me 1.5h peak to go to KL.. 2.5 to 3 is peak with Klang Valley jam.. if from Cheras/Kajang.. 40 mins non peak.. 1.5 to 2 for peak..
In my opinion, the jam is the reason why we need a proper planning public transport everywhere and ditch the car oriented lifestyle (and if possible, further limit the car ownership and even parking in the country). I know it is hard to change but this is the only way ahead for every city. Driving cars everyday for a few hours can be sometimes very tiring, which the time that is used itself can be saved for other things or even more productivity.
Agreed... A single commuter line is not enough to cater more people to commute daily from Seremban to KL... I suggest that the KVITS must be expanded in a large scale, and these include an extensive LRT network that covers all of Seremban metro, upgrading the existing Seremban station into an integrated transport hub replacing Terminal 1, plus ERL extensions from KLIA into Seremban/Port Dickson.
I rather stay around kota kemuning like bandar rimbayu area than going all the way to sremban, you get a peaceful lifestyle while you can work in suabng,pj or kl, i used to stay in putrajaya and everyday travel to subang because im studying ther its very stressful, i just moved to bukit jalil i dont have to travel much and its peaceful and nearer to subang i dont need to deprived on sleep everyday to travel.
Mad respect to those daily commuter. I personally dont think i can handle it. I used to commute daily to Bangsar from Puncak Alam and that itself is quite tiring.
Instead of staying in Seremban, there are other options as well in the southern part of Selangor. Bangi, Semenyih, Dengkil and many more. Especially for those who prefer to stay in Selangor, avoiding traffic jam around living area, works in southern Klang Valley (Puchong, Cheras, Subang or even Putrajaya, Sepang and etc). If we are working in KL Selangor area, planning for travelling is kinda unavoidable, no matter where you live.
I work as a teacher. I live in Cheras and work in Subang. Have to leave home by 6:20am. Going to work will take me around 45 mins. With accident, 1 hour 15 mins. Finish work at 4:30pm. Will take around 40 mins to 1 hour to go back home.
i'm a Seremban 2 resident since 2013. Moving from KL to Seremban and commute to and fro wasn't that bad at all. In fact, there's 2 choices of highway, which is of course, PLUS and LEKAS highway. Or, if you wanna go on longer route, there's a route which pass thru Bandar Sri Sendayan where the hotel situated, then Felda LBJ, Bandar Enstek and Sepang Circuit which exit at Kota Warisan which leads to MEX highway.
I being doing it for 6 years, all about planning the journey. ETA to sg besi 7.15am, left KL area before 5 - 5.30pm. I won't agree that it will be cost saving unless u take express bus/express KTM. Can't compare with Kuala Lumpur or even Selangor (Subang, PJ, Shah Alam, Cheras, Ampang.. ), try compare it with Semenyih, Klang, Sg Long and Rawang. Seremban should be a better choice.
Love your videos...New Yorker here, learning a lot about Malaysian life from your channels. Any thoughts on living in Johor Bahru and commuting to Singapore for work?
Hi, Chelson... I guess you're looking at it the way you'd commute from Jersey City into the city? DON'T. Imagine that same commute, plus a 90 minute delay for immigration. Lol
u hv to leave smban at 5.50 on Monday mornings n 6am other days arrive at 6.50 or 7am. I leave kl at 4pn n it's a 50 min ride to smban ..6m now traveling so far so good
You amaze me for this. My house is in Damansara Heights but when I got a job in Sg Besi, I rented a room in Salak South to be closer to it and you commute from Seremban to KL 😳
Been hearing about Bandar Sri Sendayan since 2014. Quite a number of Cyberjaya office workers travel from Cyber to Sendayan. No idea how they managed this with their grueling 12 hours shift. The current time it would take to travel would be between 45 minutes or 1 hour one way. Another reason why they bough the project was because MEX2 would supposedly cut the traveling hour by half. Sales folks kept pushing this point. We all know what happened to MEX2. As the pandemic took place, employers(some did and retained it) switched over to WFH. Those WFH would end up saving alot more than they bargained for. With the economic recession going overdrive next year, Sri Sendayan is going to be a tough sell.
not worth buying property there, definitely end up with losses, BBS has been around since the 90s but still a sleepy town n not self sustaining as they claim to be, still depends a lot on s2 commercial hub... and no, their prices are not cheap either, also never buy from agents, they're a real cheater...
I did it for seven years ago and it was not so bad. I didn't drive alone, we shared but sometimes our friend take advantage,at last I drive alone+++taking commuter. I valued the home. Environment and kids education and ...
According to research.. if you work & stay in Klang Valley area.. you will need to spend about 40 hours per month just sitting in traffic.. such a waste of time..
Actually the issue is KL itself not well-connected and designed as a CBD. Imagine if like NYC, everybody live in Long Island New Jersey, drive to a train station, then take train go into Manhattan, actually not bad. Like can rest on the train, do work on the train, don't need keep driving.
Ive done that. I allocated around rm1.5k for tolls and petrol. Now ive done and just call it quit. If u r single its ok but if u r a parent then not worth the travel
I work in bangsar , stay in Bandar Rimbayu , Telok Panglima Garang which down south towards klang and middle between Subang and Klang...still can took 90 minutes to work...still got a lot of properties outside of klang valley such as putrajaya , cyberjaya , dengkil , sepang etc...but staying in seremban & working in KL seems not efficient unless working remotely or as a retiree...
I live in Bandar Saujana Putra and work in Sendayan area, jam usually is at Saujana roundabout due to construction but I generally am going against the traffic so no heavy jam....45min-1.15min tops.
Trying to co-sell bandar sendayan aar? Not a very good representation of Seremban - KL. 1 hour is the highway another hour is navigating inside the city center.
I'm pretty sure taking a ktm komuter also takes 1 hour 30 minutes from seremban to kl sentral but it's a bummer you didn't try it and didn't compare it with driving
@@Zichoe I think what he mean was it will only work if your company is within walking distance to your final ktm destination at your work place. No point taking ktm if once you reach the area you work, you will need to walk far or take bus to there
I have a relatives who commute to work from Seremban from 1970 to 1997. He travel by BUS for the first 10 years before getting his company car in the 80s. And bear in mind, there is no PLUS Highway back in the 70s and part of 80s.
Hi there. How about if you could compare commuting on weekdays for the three days? That way you will have a feel of those having to commute to work during the peak period on weekdays for those three days
Seremban exit to sg besi toll probably cost RM5.60 which is almost the same tol i paid daily from KL to PJ via NPE highway lol. Different is just the distance hahahha.
Hey bro, really really appreciate the video and extremely helpful. I would like to thank for the exposure. I have a question regarding the situation but in a different equation. Is it worth it to use rental cars like Socar or Gocar or Trevo for traveling during the weekends?
Born and raised in seremban but staying in KL since 2009 until buy house here now.. never thought in my life want to travel seremban-KL everyday damn tired lorh 🤣
Love ur experiment here but as ur title shown above it doesn’t really replicate the day to day work from seremban to Kl..it’s just more of a vacation after work on Friday.. using one day to travel to KL from seremban doesn’t justify anything.. next time try to be more realistic so viewers like us can decide whether to stay in seremban and work in kl. Cheers
Mr Money TV, how about doing commute between JB and SG? Perhaps you will then understand why some start their journey at 5am and some at 730am and yet reach office at about the same time.

That is because you are not use to coming home early. For me, my work place is 5-10 min away. I finish work at 4pm and by 4.15pm, I am already at tennis court playing tennis. Agreed only 1 day is insufficient

As if theres even good work opportunities in seremban. Ktm seremban seems the only viable link to kv
Ohh I am of the people doing this, since 2018 for my case..so far so good..will share my experience of my own later..

Why Seremban:
Property prices still affordable around S2 area during 2008. Now? boleh pengsan see the price 😁

Really enjoyed this content! Thanks Peter!

Agree. You buy a big house, but most of the time you only go back home to sleep. That's not living to me.
there’s no guarantee that your office will not change location.. Just stay outside of KL and buy yourself a nice car to endure the jam.. At least that’s what I did
Agree with this comment wholeheartedly. 👏

You forgot park car in mrt, take train daily, I wonder how it looks like
I saw you at the restaurant!
Ah! Haha nice to meet u (belated)
Next video idea "I Tried Living In Sabah And Working In KL"
🤣 that’s a fantastic idea
Why not take the Train..and then get To and From the office with Grab?
Yo Mr. M, where did you get your specs frame?
i like rich ppl doing content like this
like it gonna give us inspiration or what
idk
Hey bro, really really appreciate the video and extremely helpful. I would like to thank for the exposure.
I have a question regarding the situation but in a different equation. Is it worth it to use rental cars like Socar or Gocar or Trevo for traveling during the weekends?
Would like to see him covers this topic as well !
Good idea! We’ll look into it :)
Cheers
the video doesn't justify the title. If it is just 1-day to-and-fro work day plus 1-day vacation. Anyone can do their own experiment like this.
I want to see how that's different using public transport (KTM + other rail/bus lines)
Mr Money TV, how about doing commute between JB and SG? Perhaps you will then understand why some start their journey at 5am and some at 730am and yet reach office at about the same time.
wake up 6.15AM, depart 7.30AM
WOW, u guys are lucky
Tbh, you should taking the bus as the bus drops you at Pasar Seni. 1 way os Rm6.50 and for 2 ways is Rm13 per day.
