About the 25th Annual SAG Awards:
The 25th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, hosted by Megan Mullally, is the only televised awards show to exclusively honor performers; it presents thirteen awards for acting in film and television in a fast moving two-hour show, which airs live on TNT and TBS. Omg I can't believe how much people doesn't understand her humor. She delivered every line on the right moment. _What else do you want from her?!_
Maybe it's that nails on chalkboard screech of a voice coupled with lack of funny.
A little pep. A smidge of happiness. Not much to ask. The jokes and commentary were fine, but delivered so poorly. Some people are meant to host awards shows, and some people are meant to act from scripts. MM simply showed she is the latter.
MORE PROOF that most women just aren't funny. If a man would have told the same jokes, or Tina Fey or Amy Poehler, then they probably would have been funny.

Megan Mullally and I shared a dressing room about 35 years ago for the musical The Fantastics. Robert Conrad was the star of that production. We were in our early 20's in Chicago. She's a riot and always had star quality.
How hot was Conrad back then?
Marian Rothschild I'm so happy that today, people are able to maintain their good looks so much later on into life, as she is a shining example of this. Also, she's super smart, which her having desired to publish a paper with her (accurate) position on "bisexuality existing in all people," (which I could easily prove but, must wonder if doing so would actually at all help anybody).
She's brave, not all of the audiance appreciated her honest satire! (an american thing, i guess?).
The monologue failed horribly. Megan is usually a laugh riot.
