Today is 8/12/16, how close HIS coming is now? To be honest with you, I am surprised that HE hasn't come yet. But, I am keeping the faith and I keep WAITING, WATCHING and WORKING!!!
+Heather Wade That always was the biggest part of David Wilkerson-- he gave everything! the sales of his books,, every dime went into ministering to the poor,, the needy,, food, shelter, clothing.. have you seen his memorial service and the things they talked about? David Wilkerson NEVER talked about his giving... he was very rare,, a very Godly man--
Exactly! He walked the talk!! He started drug programs, helped the poor.... he did more than ANY pastor I know of! More importantly he shared that Jesus loves them and died for THEM
it is not easy to find these pastors today. He is one of the God's elected. The false prophets preach only about gospel prosperity not about sin. They not feeding the sheep. They only speak about money money money .
In response to the negative comments about David Wilkerson: "Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is one lawgiver who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another? "--James 4:11-12
+cocolovins The falling away is not the world per se they are already fallen, but the so called (false body of christ) church. And we are seeing it every day as denomination after denomination denies Jesus is the only way, endorses perversion and accepts all sin as holy and ordained by God. The true church will endure and be persecuted as we are seeing now and their is indeed a true church among true believers today.
+Tigerex966 Remember your body is a temple, will you let the holy spirit occupy it or satn defile it? Remember Jesus said tear down this temple and in 3 days I will rebuild it, their Jesus was saying the body, his body was the temple, not the physical second temple that was in jeruselam at that time. So Jesus can indeed come without a third temple being built, as long as their is first a falling away which their definitely is and a certain someone revealed and many believe he has been revealed already. God bless stay in the word
My tithe and offerings are a one way street. Churches want my giving but if I need help I don't get any therefore I will give to the poor and needed before I give to a church that won't help me when I am in deed and even now I need..but my church didn't help me so I left after 30 yrs in this church.. That is the fact...
Harold Cale here we are 4 years later after what you wrote about the church that are taking but won’t give. The church is very sad today and it’s getting worse. I believe God is opening up the truth about their greedy ways and calling His own to come out and be not of them. I find that God works in our life if we seek Him with all our hearts and minds. To come on our own to Him daily, not just on Sunday. If we continue to read the Bible and ask for the Holy Spirit to teach us all things. The Holy Spirit will judge all things and we will know them by their fruits.
Check out Pastor Charles Lawson here on RUclips. He is a true messanger of YHWH, just like Pastor Wilson. Amazing. Get ready, guys! Yeshua is coming for us! Hallelujah! 💜
Matthew 3:2 2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand Matt 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say,Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Mark 6:12 12 And they went out, and preached that men should repent. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Repent and believe the gospel, and be ye baptized, in the name of Jesus. for the remission of your sins.
"Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God." 2 Thes 2:1-4 THE ANTICHRIST MUST REBUILD THE TEMPLE BEFORE THE RAPTURE CAN HAPPEN. That is the truth. All truth comes from God. Don't let the devil appeal to your pride. READ THE WORD! Matthew 24 proves that the saints WILL go through the tribulation period (the wrath of Satan not God).
Will Christ return in a manner visible to human eyes? John 14:19: " little longer and the world will behold me no more, but you [Jesus faithful apostles] will behold me, because I live and you will live." [Jesus has promised his apostles that he would come again and take them to heaven with him. They could see him because they would be spirit creatures as he is. But the world not see him again. Compare 1 Timothy 6:16.]
+John Colage Before went to the cross the world at that time so him no more, but his apostles did both spiritually and physically, and he will indeed take them to heaven. remember in the finality every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is lord, both the world and believers alike. God Bless, keep reading the world, while we still can.
+Tigerex966 Acts 13:34: "He [God] resurrected him [Jesus] from the dead destined no more to return to corruption." [Human bodies are by nature corruptible That is why 1 Corinthians 15:42, 44 uses the word "corruption" in parallel construction with "physical body." Jesus will never again have such a body.] John 6:51: "I am the living bread that came down from heaven ; if anyone eats of this bread he will live forever; and, for a fact, the bread that I shall give is my flesh in behalf of the life of the world." [Having given it, Jesus does not take it back again. He does not thereby deprave mankind of the benefits of the sacrifice of his perfect human life.]
What matters is he died for our sins and rose again on the third day. And in him alone we can gain everlasting life. There is much debate whether it was a cross or stake, and good evidence for both, I believe the cross was it, but I could be wrong and freely admit it , because I am overjoyed he died for me and I now belong to him, whether a cross ,stake ,splinter or oak tree, does not matter, what he accomplish in my and others lives does.
+Tigerex966 IS VENERATION OF THE CROSS A SCRITURAL PRACTICE? 1 Cor. 10;14: "My beloved ones, flee from idolatry. [An idol is an image or symbol that is an object of intense devotion, veneration, or worship.] Ex. 20:4, 5, JB: "You shall not make yourself a craved image or any likeness of anything in heaven or on earth beneath or in the waters under the earth; you shall not bow down to them or serve them." [Notice that God commanded that his people not even make an image before which people would bow down.] Of interest is this comment in the New Catholic Encyclopedia: "The representation of Christ's redemptive death on Golgotha does not occur in the symbolic art of the first centuries. The early Christians, influenced by the Old Testament prohibition of graven images, were reluctant to depict even the instrument of the Lord's passion."---[1967], Vol. 1v. p. 486. Concerning first-century Christian, History of the Christian Church says: "There was no use of the crucifix and no material representation of the cross."---[New York, 1897], J. . Hurst, Vol. 1, p. 366. Does It Really Make Any Difference f A Person Cherishes A Cross' As Long A s He Does Not Worship It? How would you feel if one of your dearest friends was executed on the basis of false charges? Would you make a replica of the instrument of execution? Would you cherish it, or would you rather shun it? In ancient Israel, unfaithful Jews wept over the death of the false god Tammuz. Jehovah spoke of what they were doing as being a 'detestable thing.' [Ezek. 8:13, 14] According to history, Tammuz was a Babylonian god, and the cross was used as a symbol. From its beginning in the days of Nimrod, Babylon was against Jehovah and an enemy of true worship. [Gen. 10:8-10; Jer. 50:29] So by cherishing the cross, a person is honoring a symbol of worship that is opposed to the true God. As stated at Ezekiel 8:17, apostate Jews also 'thrust out the shoot to Jehovah's nose.' He viewed this as "detestable" and 'offensive.' Why? This "shoot," some commentators explain, was a representation of the male sex organ, and used in phallic worship. How, then, must Jehovah view the use of the cross, which, as we have seen, was anciently in phallic worship?
Heather Wade do you feed hungry and help those with finances cause if so ik someone u can help... teen challenge ring a bell? Or cross and the switch blade? this is the man that did that! even after His death hes helping needy!
A GLOBAL RELIGIOUS EMPIRE Jehovah's prophets had declared his judgment that Babylon must be swept "with the broom of annihilation"----just as with God's overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah." Were those prophecies later fulfilled? Yes, to the last detail! In time, ancient Babylon became a pile of rubble---uninhabited except for reptiles and wild beasts---exactly as foretold! [Isaiah 13:9, 19-22; 14:23; Jeremiah 50:35, 38-40] However, that other Babylon, modern-day Babylon the Great, lives on. As the world empire of false religion, she perpetuates the original Babylon's teachings and haughty spirit. She is Satan's chief instrument for blinding the people to Jehovah's Kingdom purposes.----2 Corinthians 4:3, 4. About the sixth century before Christ, when the world power Babylon was at the zenith of her glory, the religions of Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, and Shintoism also came to the fore. But did Satan succeed in swamping the entire world with false religion? No, for a remnant of Jehovah's ancient witnesses returned from Babylon to Jerusalem to reestablish Jehovah's worship, Thus, faithful Jews were on hand there, six centuries later, to welcome the Messiah and become the first members of the Christian congregation. False religion brought about the martyrdom of God's own Son and became Satan's instrument for opposing true Christianity, just as Jesus and his disciples had warned.---Matthew 7:15; Acts 20:29, 30; 2 Peter 21. Particularly after the second destruction of Jerusalem in 70 C.E., did Satan use false apostles to corrupt Christian teachings, fusing these with Babylonish mysticism and worldly Grecian philosophy. Thus, a 'divine triune,' the Trinity, was substituted for the Bible's "one Jehovah." [Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29; 1 Corinthians 8:5, 6] And the doctrine of the immorality of the human soul, as taught by the pagan philosopher Plato, was brought in to negate the precious Bible teachings of Christ's ransom and the resurrection. This opened the way for belief in a fiery hell and a less fiery purgatory. [Psalms 89:48; Ezekiel 18:4, 20] Such God-dishonoring teachings that play upon people's fears have helped to fill the coffers of the churches. Further, in the days of the inquisition and of the Reformation, the clergy could not wait for flames of hellfire to do the tormenting. Thousands who preferred Bible truth to Babylonish dogma were burned alive at the stake by both Catholics and Protestants But as we shall see, the harlotry of Babylon the Great extends far beyond promoting falsehood.
I love the trib response all , other labels come from man causing division No where in the Bible does it state, pre, mid, post. We are told that we are not appointed unto wrath. that's it.. God will take care of His bride. Is the bride making herself ready? That is the more important point.
+Lolita Nogan Matthew 24 - v24...The wrath of God is after the wrath of Satan (the tribulation). You are not ready, for you believe what you think, not what God said.
+Lolita Nogan we will be persecuted (satans/mans wrath) , God will allow satan and man to do this up to death in some cases, as Jesus the apostles and many christians have been done before us and even now still are. We will not, however, have to face Gods wrath, which is far worse.
The way that this man preaches reminds me of Joel Osteen doesn't like reading from the Bible I'm backing up with chapter and verses. I love hearing brother David's messages, they are quite unlike most sermons you will hear... no one preaches on this subject anymore
