Jackie is unique. When he was becoming famous he would be asked if he wanted to be the next Bruce Lee. He would reply with "No, I wanna be the first Jackie Chan". He's succeeded.

My father come from Peru, but for some reason he kinda looks like Jackie Chan. I don't know my father, only saw some pictures from him. As a child I was a huge Jackie Chan fan. My childhood wasn't that great, but Jackie Chan was a huge happy part of this. At the time I saw the pictures from my father the first time, I thought, oh he looks like Jackie Chan! This is so cool! And so Jackie Chan became even more a really important part of my childhood. Jackie Chan thank you very much! You maybe won't see my comment, but you helped me a lot! ♥️♥️♥️ Love from Germany!♥️
@sick turrett No my father was a busker and I'm born in Germany. My mother never was in China or USA. I don't think, that Jackie Chan was in Germany at this time. 😅🙈
Thats our Jackie. I remember my dad taking me to those old theatres to watch snake in the eagles shadow and drunken master. So great to have shared this generation with this guy. Yeah curtains close to getting drawn and we may not see him do those high flying acts soon. Enjoy the ride and appreciate the moment.
It's crazy how some people you never meet can mean so much to you. I will always remember the first time I HEARD the name Jackie Chan. A TV game show mentioned "Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu" as a prize. This was in the early 90s. I thought Jackie was a woman. Like most kids from my generation, my first ACTUAL time seeing him was Rumble in the Bronx. Then from there, you go back and learn his whole history and never look back. Legend of the Drunken Master is my all time favorite. I used to dream of learning martial arts and one day working on his stunt team.
1:05 *LOL, while Jackie's English is more than good enough to get by on daily conversations, sometimes he gets lost on jokes and sarcasm, so he just says "Yes."*

You guys don't even know how much jackie defines my childhood, his movies including and especially ones from the 70s 80s and 90s are what i woke up think about and went to bed thinking about all my boyhood. What that man did, the fact that he cheated death more times than ive eaten breakfast, it... i cant even with words you guys.
Just finished watching the end fight to Young Master. Watch the 18 min version. That's the craziest fight ever put on film. Jacky was at his peak physique there
There will NEVER be another Jackie Chan!!

Cherish this man. We are getting closer to the days of losing all our generational stars.
He is 64, this dude will be around for the next 25 years most likely.
I assume you mean both of them. The idea of Conan leaving us is very depressing.
He'll live another 30 years.

In my opinion, Jackie is more likable than Bruce Lee. Jackie is so down to earth while Bruce is way too conceited.
Jackie Chan was incomprehensibly huge in the 80’s and 90’s. I remember seeing his action movie VHS’s everywhere I went as a kid. He’s a legend!
Sure, in the 80's & 90's, his movie's VHS and billboard displayed every corners in Aisa every country.
When Jackie talks, everyone smiles. A global treasure.
Man! He was 48 here WTF!
Are you serious?!!!! Holy hell he's hot!!!!!
He looks like a kid at 48
WHAT??!!!!

I’m already aged at the age 32. At 48 maybe i will be in grave.
His positivity is the reason we adore him
"Me?" He's just like a kid 🥰😂
Jackie Chan always makes people feel happy and positive. I watched his movies when I was child. While I am 35 , I am still watching them.
Same here I'm 33 and been a fan since the 90s
Now you are 37
Even though he made more money in hollywood and became more famous, his HK movies are far better nothing can match!
Agreed
Random Potatoes At least he doing it both, whatever it takes Jackie would be forever as an Asian movie star.
Because In hk they focused on the story and the quality of the movie more than the money, and that's not Hollywood
Yeah those were the days of my childhood watching with my father binging jackie's movies
true...
he looks so much cooler with long hair
I just notice Jacky’s english is better then than now😁😁
Yes because he spent a lot of time in hollywood back then with English speaking people.
