Love days like that with lots of interesting bits and bobs 😃 The LG24 done well👍you know what they say... it's not the size that matters, it's what you do with it that counts 😜🤣🤣 xx
@@DiggerDanMetalDetecting unfortunately that’s all I can do at the moment the chemo is not letting me go out swinging at the moment all I can do is watch videos of the great things that people are unearthing 👍👍

@@DiggerDanMetalDetecting good lad and always a pleasure and educational to watch pal 👍🏻 I’m saving up for a Legend pal but Simplex still doing me proud 👌🏻
It's definitely a good improvement mate, not super noticeable to start with, weight wise, but definitely noticeable after a days digging. Felt like I could keep going for longer without the arm ache 👍👌
Thank you buddy. You've given me the chills with that thought lol, hope it doesn't haunt me 😬. If it's a grave marker, there could be something very exciting out there 🤔
I can't wait to clean that badge up with the composite cleaning pencil, and give it a wax 👌. Think it will come up beautifully. Amazing kittle piece of history. Thanks for watching mate 👍
Great video Dan. Smashed it out of the park with the LG 24. Second lump of lead with inscriptions I’ve seen in the last seven days. Yours looks like it has a couple of crosses on it including the cross on the mound.
Cracking video Dan, started watching a few months back and I’ve just bought the Legend as my first detector and can’t wait to get out and use it. Cheers buddy 👍🏼
Hey Dan very nice buckle unusual that one . Find of the day for me was the lead square looked ecclesiastical to me 🤔 '' nifty little coil !!💯'' . Well done Dan thanks for sharing 👍
I'm in love with that buckle 😍, possibly the best I've ever found 👌. As for the lead item, I'm still none the wiser. I have sent an email to my FLO and will await a reply. Hopefully I can give an update on it soon 🤞🤞. Thank you for watching
LG24 is a good coil. Found me a five coin hoard of Irish mint Edwr 1st pennies with it, on an iron and cinder riddled bridle-way. Kings head in nabla triangle.. Looking forward to Nokta eventually supplying the extended version of the new carbon-fibre centre section shaft. I'm a long'un.. For me, the original arm-rest can stay where it is. Real nice woven finger ring, and the buckle with it's lustrous patina is really impressive. Cheers for the video Dan. You do a proper job, I reckon.
Sounds like you've had some right good luck with the LG24 mate, well done on you hoard of coins 👏✔️. Thank you very much for watching mate, much appreciated 👍
Dan great video, the badge you found RFC is a WW1 ROYAL FLYING COR (RFC) hat badge (Brass) they were the soon to become the RAF love your videos mate. Brgs and thanks again Dan.

Hahaha 🤣, it's strange mate, me and Tom had a roman coin each off that field on the same day, and I I've not found a single thing roman on there since 🤔. Thanks for watching mate 👍
Thank you for watching 👍 😁. I'm fairly certain that it's a ring, and my best guess it that is probably a vicrorian child's "cheap" ring. It's very small, and won't fit on my little finger. 👍
Are you talking about the lip at the top of the spade head? It is actually a hindrance and stops you from diggin very deep, so by the time my next video goes out, I think it will be gone lol 😆. Thanks for the tip, that I had though lt about before, but never acted upon lol
The Legend with the upper shaft, arm Cup and LG30 is about 200g lighter that it was as standard. Definitely will notice the difference after a long day of swinging 👌. Thank you for watching 👍
Hi mate hope your good feller. Still watching your amazing finds. Did hear your struggling with depth and I have noticed this to. Even did an air test on previous finds ie silver siliqua which was dug out at 10in down but it struggled to get it on the air test at 8in after update. Also I’ve noticed you have switched to All metal mode. Do you find this better than your original settings you used previously. Cheers Dan and keep up the good work
Hi Julian 👋, interesting to hear your take in the 1.09 vs 1.11, seems there are a lot of people saying the same thing, and also a lot that say 1.11 is fine 🤔. Confusing world. I've been using all metal for a while now and I quite like it 👍. I always say that the less filters you have set on a machine, the better. It means that the machine is not working as hard to filter out things, and let's it work wide open, helping with depth and target Id etc. Thank you for watching mate 👍
Great content Dan, live watching your finds. Think we did meet once at one of the Berserker digs. I changed to the Legend last year and am having trouble getting good signals, even with the LG30 coil. I air tested a modern 10p and 5p and got no signal at all. I’ve tried some of your settings but it hasn’t helped. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
You shouldn't be having trouble, unless you just aren't walking over it. Try some testing at home on a bench with a few different targets and see what happens? 👍
Lighter arm cup and carbon shaft have some issues 1/ the arm cup is uncomfortable compared to the original & 2/ the new carbon shaft is a sloppy fit in the top joint not the quality I have come to expect from Nokta however the LG30 coil is excellent. I have reported the issues to Nokta.
I did not experience any of those issues mate, the arm Cup felt no different in terms of comfort. If the upper shart is lose, then it might be worth getting a replacement, as mine is fine. Thank you for watching 👍 😁
