The axe talisman does not boost the damage of the bolt of gransax ancient lightning spear. The axe talisman only boosts the damage of charged heavy attacks but NOT the damage of any charged spells or ashes of war.
On a dex character this weapon makes exploring the dlc a breeze if you beef it up. Godfrey's, Alexander's, Lightning Scorpion will decimate most of the mobs from a safe distance and you constantly get blue refills from clearing groups
Yo I just finally got time to get into Elden ring and I've been using that crack lightning spear throw It's pretty crazy this is like the first week that I'm playing elden ring I'm just trying to get my bearings in the game but watching your video made me realize that all the bosses can be beat with that lightning spear That's what I wanted to know...now I just gotta figure out how to get these quests going...

The bolt of Gransax is definitely one of the better weapons lol just be sure to google any questions you got. Fextralife is your friend.
