i just picked up the trio of small box games from pencil first games. played delicious and after watching this solo playthrough, going to play this tonight. thank you. still have to play herbaceous solo.
Interestingly, I played this incorrectly the first couple of times (regarding the stones that the crow leaves behind....if you choose them, they go back to the supply, not to the player). Also, I find that I always spend my cup of tea because there's a point in the game when I really want a certain card and need to stop the crow! You did a nice job of showcasing the art of this game on camera. Thanks for the playthrough and gg ("good game")!
Yes, you are correct I'll be sure and update that in the description of the video! Thank you for catching that! Yes, I have held my cup of tea and really ruined my game plan because of it!
Love the way you explain things. Easy to follow. We've played this many times (4 players) and love it. Totally now going to try the solo as it looks super fun. Love Herbaceous too - which I think is in the same family of games? Thanks again.
I played one solo game, and it was SO good I couldn’t stop! Six more games followed until I realised it was 1am. Thanks again for the encouragement to play this solo. Brilliant.

One of my favorite games. I also find sunset over water very relaxing
Yes Sunset over Water is wonderful too!

Great playthrough! This game looks pretty interesting.
Thank you so much! It is a fun and quick game I really enjoy! :)
This was great! I just got this and cannot wait to play today.

I appreciate your comment! I enjoy explaining things as simply as possible! You'll have to let me know what you think of the solo mode!

I haven’t played this game yet but if I did I might replace the stones with actual glass stones.
That is a terrific idea! I do have some of those laying around - I will have to upgrade those stones for sure!
The reference cards are quite useless if your eyesight is poor.
I wear specs and still have difficulty reading the ref cards 😕
