Or the ferocious hard bop of Miku’s tune “Tenor Hunter.” 44:26 -- All of this in just 50 minutes??? Well… P.S. - I like her colorful clothing too!
Miku is one of the most talented, interesting, energetic and vibrant performers on RUclips these days. Whether it's her band here, or with the Avengers, she exudes an energy and excitement that is totally infectious -- and great fun to watch. And then -- there's the MUSIC! Bravo, Miku! Keep on doing!
How is this possible? Amazing talent, super jazz chops, beauty, taste in clothes, jazz dance…and leads a top flight jazz combo. She blows like Trane and Sonny blended…you hear the influences and her own chops mixed together to form a super pastiche
What a phenomenal performance! I really enjoy the originals. Hearing her lead the band through Spain, including the Concierto de Aranjuez excerpt, helped highlight how brilliantly she plays. Magnificent! 🤩
She is truly an original who has studied the greats. And thanks for the info about Spain. Makes me want to watch more especially the Concierto excerpt…she is always referencing something. I’m trying to recall if it was Larry Coryell who threw in an excerpt from As Time Goes By on Guitar Player LP. He did Spain…shalom
