Yet another brilliant master class. Thanks Jack! I came back to this lesson having worked on my cross picking with fiddle tunes and was excited to see how much more it flowed. This lesson really helped me to get started and this tune is one that I look forward to mastering. You are a great player and an important inspiration for me. What you said about Cross picking helping all aspects of playing is as they say on the 💰
Thanks so much for this, Jack. I am really glad to have located your channel. Just spent a fun 20 mins on the picking drill; tough at first, but I can see how the speed will come with consistency! Thank you again...
Erik! Welcome aboard👍 Yeah… gotta stick with it, but once it becomes second nature you can just fall back on the technique and a cool chord voicing while you consider the next chord change or melodic idea. The truth is it’ll always be musical, because it’s based in rhythm and chord tones.
Hi! Thanks for the comment, and offer to financially support the channel, however at this time I don’t have the means of tabbing out something like this. So far all tablature of my lessons has been provided by students, friends, subscribers etc…very generous of them as I’m told it’s quite time consuming. If anyone wants to tackle this I’ll offer you a lesson in exchange for a job well done.
Really enjoyed your playing and this is a really good lesson. Thanks! Nerd question for you: You have great tone... was wondering what kind/gauge strings you're using on that guitar.
@@jacksnax4guitar460 PS: Was just browsing your channel links (to see if you give lessons) and I saw that you had a gig in Suffern, NY. I live in Columbus, OH, but I grew up in Sloatsburg and went to Suffern HS. :) Small world!

Indeed another JSX masterclass Already knew the tune but you've 🤯 🎸 🎶 🪐 ☄️ blown my mind with this lesson, rendition
@@uberjam-sam8512 Thanks for the bucks and the kind words (even more😊)
Jack you’re just phenomenal. So inspired every time I tune in.
Hey! That’s so nice😊
This is one of the best lesson videos I’ve ever seen. Very well done.
This is just what I needed, something to spice up my playing a little. The same old stuff I've been playing sounds, well dull, stale. Very helpful.
Thank you

Wow! Just stumbled on this. Great lesson. We all start at zero. Who woulda thunk.
Glad it was helpful!
Superb lesson Jack.
Loving all the dead, I'd like to learn some rifts from the eleven and suggested scale to jam on that song
That's rock 'n roll thanks for sharing.
You’re very welcome!

U SHOULD BE ON TOUR...JACK
Thanks G!
What Martin is this? The sound is damn good
@@rubenruiz5809 it’s an OM28
It's the super light G chord strum at 0:33 that does it for me
And the walk ups at 0:20
Great rhythm game dude damn!
Rhythm is everything….especially in bluegrass. Without it, there’s just no flow.
I'd love to buy a tab of this, if you have the time/interest!

@@jacksnax4guitar460 makes sense. definitely very time consuming. either way, you are much appreciated!
Jack, what model guitar is that? Looks like a OOO-28, but wasn't sure -- Thanks.
Close OM-28E. So longer scale (just a bit) and it’s got some electronics. I used it because I could record it into my looper.
@@jacksnax4guitar460 sounds nice. I have a 00-28, D-18, HD-28V. I thought that was smaller bodied than a D, yet sounded really full. Cheers.
Played so tasty, Awesome!
