This live groups reminds me a lot of late Talking Heads. They expanded the band with extra drums and synths, plus Will isn't playing guitar anymore so he can do his weird dances.
so exciting to see this band evolve over time
they added on Naked Giants because theyre touring together. Its a great blend

I never heard of these guys before. I clicked out of interest without a clue of what to expect. I'm happy to say that I will be tuning into more car seat headrest in the near future.

Trust me listen to Twin Fantasy (2018 if ur more basic but the old one if you want a more raw sound)
these guys absolutely rock live. you havent lived til youve heard drugs with friends while smoking a blunt 5 feet from will.
I saw them live at a music festival a couple weeks ago, and sadly they didn't play drugs with friends but they made up for it with the best possible live performance of Bodys. Definitely one of, if not the best live concert i've ever been to! If I had stayed in the mosh pits at the front I probably would've died. Never seen so many people per square feet in my life

Will Toledo Invented Music.
This band's deceptive (and that's a good thing). They've got the beat, the catchy lyrics, the melodic riffs, but that's just for starters. It's the layers, the complexity, the twists and turns, the total command of their craft that ultimately blows you away.

Naked Giants supported and played with them on the EU tour and they were awesome. I met Grant (the guitarist) after the show, super down to earth guy. Definitely worth checking them out.

The addition of Naked Giants makes this performance so much more energetic than the last KEXP performance they did, it’s great!
Emily still loved Connect the Dots from the last performance though. It was such a highlight for me

I started crying during sober to death because I love that song and it continues to be my favorite from twin fantasy from when he first released it to when the whole bands preforms it connects with me and makes me feel loved
I think Sober To Death / Powderfinger is one of the best things I have ever heard
The best part about this isn't just the music performance audio, but the sheer fun they are having when preforming. It adds so much to the energy of the performance.
Also the video editing totally captures the band’s energy, it’s amazing

Sober to Death / Powderfinger was transcendent wtf (just like the studio versions ofc), I love how they had different members provide different vocal lines ^_^

They were touring with Naked Giants which is why they’re playing with them but they recorded Making a Door Less Open with only the normal members :(
