  • HOW TO COOK BEEF KULMA TAUSUG, is beef curry dish of the Tausug people from the southern Philippines, that is cooked in curry powder, coconut milk and peanut butter. This version of Beef Kulma is the easiest way to cook since we are using very few ingredients but achieves its taste as how I remember it since I was a child and until now. Hope you'll enjoy the recipe video!
    Cooking time 3 hours, lesser if you use pressure cooker.
    Ingredients:
    1/2 kg Beef (cut into cubes)
    1 medium Onion (chopped)
    6 - 8 pieces Garlic (minced)
    2 thumb sized Ginger (minced)
    2 pieces Beef cubes
    2-4 cups Water
    1 & 1/2 tablespoon Curry powder
    2 tablespoon Peanut butter
    1 tablespoon Tomato paste (optional)
    1 cup coconut milk
    1/2 tablespoon Sugar (more if you are using unsweetened peanut butter)
    Chillies
    2 large Potatoes (quartered)
    Black pepper for taste
