Watching this made me realize how silly I've been being in regards to making anything. The whole workflow was very much nothing more than using common sense and basic shapes and the results were really solid. I should really just go for it and stop waiting for something to happen. Thank you.
Phenomenal video! I really enjoy seeing your workflow in the time lapse whilst also explaining the learning curves you've come across. Truly the work of an artist!
Wow that’s amazing she looks so unique and beautiful I’m planning on making my own model someday honestly this is really helpful keep up the good work 👌🏼😊💜🖤
ive seen some people speed up the clothes process by selecting part of the body and copying the faces into a new object, then editing it to get the shape instead of modeling each plane individually
Very cool, gave me ideas on how to incorporate Blender more. May I ask though why you decided to do all the shading and texturing in blender rather than VRoid and also decide to build the clothes from scratch than use the clothing bases in VRoid? I'm just curious and trying to figure the best workflow for myself
Because I'm familiar with blender and know how to do those things rather than in vroid studio. I like the look of the clothes I make from scratch and can get a lot more detail as opposed to vroid clothes.
I know i'm a bit late to the party, but question... is there a way to bring a model from blender back into vroid studio, or is it better to get as much done in vroid before exporting into blender? something tells me it's not currently possible, but maybe i'm missing something ^^; tyvm for the peak behind the curtain :)
I really think this is great! Im super curious on how you are able to move Vroid into blender and vice versa? there ar enot much documentation on that and I'm super stuck
Is it possible to animate (add flowiness, weight, etc) to the things you make in blender when using vseeface? I've made a base in vroid studio but I'm not 100% happy with the outcome of some of the accessories because they're flat and don't move with my movements, so I'm considering trying blender for it if it's possible! I'm gonna use blender anyway to make more emotions and faces n stuff, but this thought hit me yesterday while working on my character! :') Nice work btw! I LOVE the horns!
Idk if you know now how give to accesories movement but helps me so much this video (spanish language) idk if helps even if it's in spanish but i hope so here ruclips.net/video/r83dUAvSt8M/видео.html he haves many tutorials of blender
I have been trying to figure out how you build like this directly onto the model for fucking weeks and im honestly dumbfounded, i know this is like "you're method" but honestly could you shed some light on how you are building clothes like this. Correct me if im wrong but you are applying a shrink wrap modifyer then building off that but i cannot figure out what else you are adding in order to just create directly onto the model. Some pointers would be dope but ofc you dont have too this video is awesome none the less In the weeks i have been trying to wrap my head around this i have attempted so many methods of cloth creation, some too success and others not so much, so figuring out how you are doing it is pretty much like my soul goal now hahaha Edit: I rewatched and i think i have figured it out, might not be perfect but god damn do i prefer the way i have found. thanks for the inspiration but if you do see this could you possibly share youre secret anyway haha :P
Shrinkwrap modifier yes, but at the top of the viewport there are options for what's called Face Snapping. It's the little magnet. That let's anything you grab snap to whatever you need, in this case I always use faces because that's the best option. Good luck!
Help I'm Trying to get into this industry myself have a base for vroid character.... But what software do you recommend and hardware I'm running off of a potato 15year old PC
I mean as a program, Blender itself is pretty light, I've managed to run it on a small notebook/tablet style laptop. How intense your scene is will depend on your performance results but there's no harm in trying it out
Can anyone tell me how she used the naked model in blender because vroid doesn't allow to have naked female models...so if anyone can tell me how do i do it..
I've been wondering, how do you then parent the mesh to the models armature once done? You don't show that step in this video. Is it just parent with Automatic weights, or weight paint transfer?
I'm pretty sure I merged into the body mesh, but you could just parent it. For weights I do them manually so I have more control. Try automatic, if it isn't accurate then fix it.

great video so nice to see your workflow and hear your thoughts and intentions behind the character design process!

I'm currently learning blender and this is so helpfull :) keep it up!

i am going to make my vtuber model you have inspired me thank you

Depending on the shape yes, that's a good idea
you didd REALLY good. eventualy want to be as good in blender as this.

you motivate me to keep trying to learn Vroid instead of keep messing with PMX XD
This was awesome! Great vid!

Omg the back and forth 🥲 I know your pain
I need to try that myself..I'm still learning
Oh she’s so cute!!
THE TEXTURES!!!
Whats the darker app/thing that you use when making the horns?? Is it still vrois studio because it looks so different

How you move The edit layer when you drawing in The vroid? I try so hard but I couldn't do it even though I tried so hard- D: good vídeo yey
I also want the answer to this ahh
Can you tell me where the tutorial for the horns in blender please
can u show us how to export the blender model from VRM back to VRM files?
I love it 😍😍 ...
Can y do another one, where y explain better how to use blender?
what version of blender did you use? I've seen 3.0 but I'm not sure if thats compatible for vroid rendering
The CATS plugin that I use is specifically for 2.93 (although there may be an update, I haven't checked in a few months tbh)

My DND character right now is an ork artificer.
On baldurs gate 3 i'm a tielfing idk how to spell it :/ I like the horns!
I need to export from blender to vroid. can you please inform me how I do this? Please
how u merge face and horns? i cant do this in blender, even when i type command join for horns and face meshes
Merging two+ meshes if just selecting and Ctrl + J
@@Bellassims and so ctrl + j is join command. And it isnt merge meshes correctly - horns flyin without head in vseeface
@@Bellassims ok, u set parent horns to bone, but why u dont show it?
Teiflings rule ❤
I would love if anyone could point me in the direction of learning how to make those shaped horns. all I see are the curly ones
Can anyone tell me how she used the naked model in blender because vroid doesn't allow to have naked female models...so if anyone can tell me how do i do it..
It's just a model exported from vroid studio without clothes!
