Great video and insight as always. A note in returns though. My pension (roughly 60/40 stocks bonds) hovvers around 5% per annum and my Vanguard Life Strategy 80/20 is at 2.99% return so keen to hear how you are able to get 7% minimum?

Interest should be 0.07 in your equation.
(Net worth) times Interest = (current annual lifestyle costs)
When you include inflation you have to add it to both sides of the equation.
This means that the Net worth also has to increase by inflation.
You are correct it should read .07
A typo in the example: divide by .07, not .7 (ROI in the example is 7%).

Hi Carlos, I suggest you use your intuition when asking for guidance. Scammers will leach on you if you open yourself to asking for suggestions from just anyone. Patience also helps. If I were you, I would Stick with Jason Graystone, He seems solid. I lost a lot of money last year due to scammers. They are going to tell you the best things you wanna hear and before you know it, you will be derailed from your intentions with an empty bank account. Sending you prayers to guide your path.

I can relate. We all start with nothing. My advice and I am nowhere near anyone to take advice from financially, but for me, when I started a little while back and I am 50. My greatest asset was my mindset. I simply sat down and created an action plan. I promise myself to do a little bit better. Each day, slowly, things are starting to compound and meeting my goals ! Good luck you can achieve anything you set your Mind to just be patient.
*It is always good to have a financial plan. I work with a professional planner and a fixed-income strategist in USA. the fixed-income portion of your portfolio won't simply serve as a buffer to the volatility of the equity portion of your portfolio but will provide legitimate income*.
I remember just after my layoff early 2020 admist COVID outbreak, I needed to stay afloat,hence researched for licence fiduciary advisors. Thankfully I came across someone of practical knowledge,and decades of experience.I liquidated 200k of 325 k from my 401K, it has yielded nearly 1M after subsequent investments.
