Kelly's show is what we need these days. She is so talented, humble, and kind. She doesn't act like a celebrity. She is so down to earth. She still remembers what it's like to struggle and pay bills 17 years ago. Kelly is so blessed and thankful! She is amazing! Love ya Kelly!

I am literally in tears. I am a retired teacher. My Dad and his mother were teachers and my daughter is currently teaching. We never made a lot of money, however, the love and joy experienced every day in school with our students was priceless. We truly believe the children are our future. Patricia Burke yes I agree! My grandparents were teachers and my mom was and my aunt and my brother and sister-in-law. I should have become a teacher but I chose another career that doesn’t pay much and followed my dad who’s an artist. 😜 Teachers do so much and most should get paid more I think.

I'm ten years out of high school but my old choir teacher was in this segment. One of the most important teachers I've ever had and even though I don't sing any more, I learned to appreciate music on a totally new level.

Alice Quinn I noticed the bruises too and I’m glad you pointed out how she didn’t even cover them up because that totally made me realize how we like never see things like that on TV and I never thought about it being because they cover them up. It’s like the absence you don’t really notice, until it’s present and pointed out. That really helped enlighten me a lot. Thank you for pointing that out. I appreciate it very much!

Kelly is such an amazing soul. I love how sweet she is to everyone ❤❤ remember back in the day when she auditioned for AI to pay bills and now she's so successful and giving back. One of the best singers ever and greatest idols ever!
I wasn't a choir kid but choir was mandatory in my elementary school. To this day, I have a deep love of music from rap to classical and everything inbetween.
I took drama class in junior high and high school and those skills have been the ones I most use in my everyday life.
“Thank you for the music, the songs we’re singing” … we all need some form of the arts in our lives to help us relax, to promote our dancing, to bring back memories and so much more. Thank you, Kelly, for reminding us of the importance of an early introduction to each of the arts. Along with reading, these are what give our lives outside of work a way of expressing ourselves as well as a method of joining up with others socially in a positive way. Sharing a love of music, dance, theatre and good books provides us with friendships that can last a lifetime. Merck, dance, gracias, obrigado.
All professions are important, but teachers have a special mission to prepare people for life.

I love this show because on multiple occasions I’ve forgotten Kelly is famous, she’s an amazing singer and the First American Idol. She’s so humble and it’s refreshing to see after seeing everyone else’s tv talk shows. Hope she does well ❤️

It's wonderful what you Kelly are doing for these dedicated music teachers. My dad Fred Pike was a bluegrass/country musician who also taught music. You can look him up in Maine's Hall of Fame. When he passed away many yrs ago, we asked for donations to go to the local school's music department.

I love that you did this for them. What touched me was the teacher who lost her voice. As someone who is very passionate about singing myself (when no one is around) i can relate somewhat. Don't really have the voice i used to as a kid. Plus it is hard to hear myself with hearing aids. Kudos to you kelly. You are a blessing.
