I was 8 years old when I discovered this phenomenal on the tv screen, to this date I would never forget I wanna to be part of it and how my life will be shape thanks to Herb Alpert and The Tijuana Brass did. THANK YOU! Herb!

Those edits to the opening number are awful! Why the hell the TJB couldn't have simply re-recorded a longer version of "Work Song" is beyond me?? It was a hit 45 and they played the song on tour. Herb could've easily worked up and the brass couldn't recorded a longer arrangement in short order.
I took up trumpet because of Herb Alpert. My high school band teacher said I played like Harry James. 66 years old and still playing.

Just saw Herb and Lani in San Antonio a few weeks ago and they and the band sounded amazing. What a great human Herb is.
