Could you imagine if the truckers and trainers got together, now we have some solidarity and power to make a change. 🙏

CN must’ve forgotten the year 1986?
RIP to the 23 people that lost their lives in a collision involving a CN train and a VIA train, head on!

No union should be able to hold the entire economy hostage for negotiations. If their complaints are legitimate as I expect they are, then binding arbitration should automatic, mandatory and fair.

No company should be in a position for a union to do that

@@InvisibleHotdog thanks for responding. I am a little unclear as to what your point is. Are you saying that companies should treat employees fairly so they don’t need to strike? If so I want you to know that I believe in the right to bargain. When it is between the company and the union that is fine. When the entire economy of a company is held hostage then no strikes should be allowed. They should however be able to go to binding arbitration and make their case fairly. So bargaining yes but holding the economy hostage definitely not

Wage stagnation? Why should workers live in Canadian poverty? Higher wages safer conditions! Do not back down!

Trudeau might as well tender-his-resignation now if sending in MacKinnon is the most sophisticated political maneuver his government could make.....extreme ineptitude
