I bought the same C326BEE about 15 years ago and it runs my 50 year old Dynaco A25s (modified). The amp is as you say kind of bright - but the Dynacos are the opposite so they even each other out. This amp sounds good with all kinds of music. It has been super dependable and really a bargain. I have a couple other amps, but this is the one I use most often.
I have a NAD running Dali speakers, both of which are about 20 years old. Only complaint it doesn't have a phono input. So I use a Technics phono stage, then send it to the NAD.
I own a NAD 216 THX. Feed it with an RME DAC and Schiit preamp. Love the sound, but it now has an issue. It's old so I am sending it in for service. It may cost more than it's worth, but I am going to have him bring it up to new again. Probably new caps, new input/output terminals (I believe the problem is on the input) and anything he can find. Love NAD. 👍
Quick thing - I saw an input labeled "disk" and also one labeled "CD" - what's the difference there, and why no "phono" input? That would seem like an oversight to me.
Not many add a photo section these days because it's not as marketable as it once was I think disc was adopted because nowadays a disc can be many things
This was my first integrated and I still own it. Very nice. I have gone through a bunch of amps since, but currently settled on the NAD M23.

PE - Power Envelope is a term they used to use.
Nice setup. Always liked NAD. l didn't know Nakamichi made cables.
Can you use the Sub out as a pre out to a power amplifier and biamp a system?
