I bought a pair of EBay projectors for like 30 bucks. They work and look great. I have vids on my channel that show it. Its pretty clear. Not all of the foreign ones are rotten. I musta got lucky.
Where did u get yours from. Most of the bmw parts center don't have them at the moment. Seen a couple on ebay price around $161. Did u get yours from ebay?
@Kwame King Yeah, it appears there is a low supply at the moment. I got mine off Amazon, but you should be able to find them still for a discounted rate close to $130-ish www.turnermotorsport.com/p-384828-led-puddle-light/
I installed a set from Amazon. Obviously it's China part and every time I lock my door they immediately unlock themselves. Sometimes I have to hit the lock button three four times to get them to stay locked. I thought maybe the polarity was backwards even though LEDs don't matter. That wasn't the case no matter how they're hooked up but where they're hooked up. I locked my door and it immediately unlocks
Thanks for sharing - do you have the 'welcome' lights as well on your M3? Think they are from the door handles that display on the ground. If so - do both lights look ok together? Hope that makes sense:)
I do have the welcome LED’s, but they don’t shine down on the ground. They just light up the door handles and a little of the door. They don’t clash with these “M” lights at all. 👍🏼
Just picked up the brand new OEM Performance led slide kit. It comes with 3 new M Performance designs to go with your existing OEM led door projector kit 👍🏼
So as this guy shows the supposed OEM puddle lights, he holds the box in his hand and says here's the part number. Now. Look at the bottom of the box under the barcode. It's just made in China. Sorry bud, but om BMW parts are made in Germany. So you just swapped out some China parts for some China parts
The OEM projects say "NAANTE" on the back, NAANTE is actually also a Chinese manufacturer based in Shenzhen where most of the knockoffs are made. Maybe their factories are right next door to ones that make these low quality knockoffs 🤣🤣
ITS FUNNY WHAT HE SAID "DON'T BUY THIS LIGHTS MAKE IT IN CHINA, BETTER TO BUY OEM BMW" AND WHEN HE UNWRAPE THE BOX, UNDER THE PART NUMBER SAYS MADE IN CHINA, MINUTE 3:33....... HAHAHAHAHAHA
Thanks for this video man! Super informative and easy step by step!
you just got fail ones. Mine are 3 years old no problem at all
Great informative video. Thanks for saving me wasted time and money. Genuine OEM all the way for me now thanks bud.
You got it bro! Happy to help 👍🏼
Thank you bro! Been here for atleast an hour trying to figure out how to take out the old bmw logo light lol
No problem. Glad to help! 👍🏼

Hopefully they work out👍🏼 Curious if they have the metal or plastic heat sink on them?

Any chance you could have shown the other projector lights that came in the box also please?
I don’t have that box. The knock offs were just handed to me from a car buddy at a car meet.

How come there was only half a bar for the dark blue that's not right
Just picked up the brand new OEM Performance led slide kit. It comes with 3 new M Performance designs to go with your existing OEM led door projector kit 👍🏼
Sweet!! 👍🏼
How are these OeM holding up a year later compared to cheap aftermarket ones?
I would say about 90% of original brightness. 👍🏼 Which in my book is worlds better than the knock-off’s that were about at 15% in 10 months
Where did u buy them from
did the cheap ones fade over time or were they good from the get go? & are the oem lights expensive?
The cheap ones faded pretty bad over the course of 9-10 months. The oem ones can be found for about $130-140ish
@@Just1MoreMod thanks brother

My projector lights and puddle lights on door handle don’t come on when I approach car, any suggestions
How long did you have these on the car for before they faded ??
I noticed a quality degradation around 6 months in, but didn’t get around to swapping them out until month 11. By that point it was baaaad
Hey, what is the Amazon link for the light?
I just picked up these OEM led door lights for my M235i. They look great! 👍🏼
Nice man! 🤟🏼
@@Just1MoreMod are your led projectors from bmw?
I’m considering buying them, have you noticed any rattle when driving after installing?
Nah, man. Zero. They go in pretty snug. Enjoy ‘em 🤟🏼
hi,i got one set non-bmw original for £12 from ebay and sad to see their colour faded away, same like above...are your lights genuine bmw?
Sorry to hear that bro, Yes genuine OEM BMW 👌🏻I know it’s more $$ but apparently that’s really the only way to go
@@Just1MoreMod how have the oem set held up so far? Still like brand new or any sign of them fading?
So far so good! (but also a lot less driving in 2020 cause of teleworking lol)
Do you have a link of where to buy these OEM version. Had a similar experience with the eBay knockoffs. Faded and I am looking for the OEMs
atm, only through bmw :( Amazon pulled down the oem links
10 months after purchasing originals from dealer the lens have worn out they look like scratche marks in logo. Anyone else had that problem.
Did you warranty them?
This is exactly why the only parts I get are OE. Buy cheap stuff get cheap results.
Does in the box come 4 reflectors for the 4 doors???
No, just one pair.
Where did u buy them
Has your OEM projector fade or get weak?
Nope. Been good since I’ve replaced 👍🏼
@@Just1MoreMod 2 years later and they’re still good as new???
I’d say about 90% as bright as first day 👍🏼
@Just1MoreMod one question tho. Are thoose lights still lasting? Is the quality still the same?
Yup, still solid! Can’t tell much/if any difference from when I swapped them out👍🏼
Could it be your floor?
No
The blue looks terrible on the new ones. My $20 ones worked fine. Use Amazon and return if any issues.
How much were those bmw led lights??
And were u buy from
$130-ish off Amazon

Maybe 🤷🏻♂️ Either way, can’t dismiss the difference in materials/build quality, and longevity 😁
ITS FUNNY WHAT HE SAID "DON'T BUY THIS LIGHTS MAKE IT IN CHINA, BETTER TO BUY OEM BMW" AND WHEN HE UNWRAPE THE BOX, UNDER THE PART NUMBER SAYS MADE IN CHINA, MINUTE 3:33....... HAHAHAHAHAHA
Parts can be made all over the world, it’s where they’re designed and what parts that are implemented that make all the difference 👍🏼
Great job 👍 always buy original!! 😉
Nah
Yeah
I think you got the cheap ones from China
Mine looks bright
I just saw your video right after I ordered Chinese shit from Amazon. I cancelled Amazon order right away. I am going to order them from BMW. Thanks
👍🏼 smart move!
AFTER... Blue color not perfect.. :(
you purchase an item for a fraction of the cost of an OEM item and you expect it to perform the same? tf you expect lmao
As stated in the video, I wasn’t too upset cause I got the knockoff for free 🤷🏻♂️
You get what you pay for, so stop trying to put down the products from other countries.
