  • I've been working on making this video on and off for about a month and I finally finished it. I've been recently passionate about creating cool content on here that helps the juggling community as a whole and anyone who is wanting to become a better juggler. So this is an insight into how I think about practice. This is also one practice in which I decided such things so not all my practices are exactly this way, but they all follow these general lines.
    Anyway, I hope you enjoy this video!

    Yes! Please! More!!! As a juggling teacher, I'd love to hear your thoughts over practice videos about when you were younger working on tricks/skills/control. Things such as: Were you always planning to reach this level of skill? Days you thought you wouldn't break through a plateau? I'd love to share these videos with my students or share stories with classes about jugglers when they were younger and building their skill level. :)

      Thanks so much Benjamin! This gives me a lot of ideas for future videos. I'll definitely try to find a video idea to answer these questions at length.

    Love thoose Training vlogs!
    I was just curious, I realized your mental goal for 6 clubs was 60 catches compared to 100+ for 7 clubs, is that just because you want to focus more on 7, find 6 more difficult, enjoy 6 less or was it just a thing for this practice session and sometimes you go for 100+ with 6 clubs aswell?

    • @spencethejuggler
      @spencethejuggler  8 месяцев назад +3

      I choose the number 60 for a few reasons. One, it’s easy to count to as I count the last throw of each flash 10 times so it’s an easy count that is easy to remember. Two, the 6 club fountain pattern has been a slow work in progress in comparison to the 7 club cascade. So yes for me it is harder so I am having to be consistent with a shorter run to keep building towards the 100 catch mark and beyond.

    Thank you for sharing! It was very cool to see a lot of the tricks you go through in practice. I'm curious, have you tried 756 inside 6s with clubs? I'm thinking it might make you really good at avoiding collisions and help get your 6 club fountain super solid. I know you mentioned that in your 8 ball video.

    Thanks for the video! My question is: why do you use beanbag, and not Russian balls, for example, "Norwik"? They are also quite effective for sports juggling.

    • @spencethejuggler
      @spencethejuggler  8 месяцев назад +1

      Absolutely! I used to use russians for a while when I was younger. I just always enjoyed how confortable beanbags are and also with russians, from my experience, have been at times slippery with sweaty hands (especially when griping 4+ in one hand). Also beanbags fit easier in the hands for 8 and 9. Either way, russians can be great for a lot of people and am not completely opposed. I just prefer beanbags.

  • @artemlipat2882
    @artemlipat2882 8 месяцев назад

    Wow ! 👏
    How did you get such consistency? You almost don't drop! I can juggle 5 balls, but I can't juggle 3 balls simple tricks without dropping at least once in 5 minute. How and how long to train such stability?

    • @spencethejuggler
      @spencethejuggler  8 месяцев назад

      I will say. I did edit out most of the drops. I do drop a lot as well during my practice by trying all these tricks. A lot of these sequences are just repetition that made them consistent while others are tricks that took a few tricks to manage.

      I learned to juggle in the height of Gatto and Garfield and it’s just cool to see someone carrying the torch for those guys! Your name will definitely go down as one of the greatest jugglers who has ever lived. I was at Game of Throws last weekend and saw you practicing and performing and it’s almost unbelievable to see juggling like yours.
      PS. You should’ve won the Battle Night! 🤣
