After seeing you riding the super handy mobility scooter I ordered mine and it arrived this week and I can now go shopping again and all my hospital appointments plus lots of other things so thank you for that Drew 👍🏾💙
Wow, that is some shopping mall, a little bit of everything. The mall is a great way to get some exercise, spend time, and just get out of the heat. But yea, some of them are too long and big for people with disabilities. it's good to see how mobility scooter accessible this one is.
Wish I had a place like that close to me. What a nice place to wheel around in. There is a mall up north somewhere that has an ice rink in it and first thing in the morning and the last session of the evening, they open it up to people in wheelchairs to do donuts on ice and roll around the rink. They built a small wood ramp so you could roll down to the ice. I saw it on a video and there were at least 20 adults in wheelchairs on the ice. What a great way to cool off in the summer too. I vote for every ice rink to do that. You scooting around the mall made me think of it.
I guess there is no fire code or ADA ruling that says the aisles in stores have to be a certain distance apart from each other. I know I had a hard time getting around and turning corners between racks while shopping on my Golden 3 wheel buzzaround. It can also be a hazard for people running from fire or shooting. It also seemed that people didn’t seem to see me. It can also be hard to open doors when on a scooter. Even carrying packages. A rear basket sticks out too far to be able to turn around clothing racks or get in and out of dressing rooms. Scooters are great but they have their cons also especially if you are alone. Scooters are better than staying home all the time!

There is but people will take a ticket to keep their merchandise loaded up.
