I think you could do a prestige type thing from wheel of mut, this way you could still have 3 players from the old team, and the prestige resets every season
Spin one wheel containing all of your offensive players and then one with all of your defensive players and take what you get from your spin for each side

Maybe, since it’s pack n play, to keep consistent with that sort of randomness you could spin a positions wheel for a Packed n Stashed player to decide what position you get to carry over?
