Can't believe the folks that owned this horse weren't the least bit interested in attending this clinic. Why this horse was the way he was, no one cared enough :(

Buck is a master of timing and feel and perception, obviously learned over years and years of doing it, but he also has a special quality that not many people possess that I am sure he has had since birth. I don't see any muscling of this animal at all. I only see a very confused animal that is stuck in it's destructive mind patterns and Buck has the ability to penetrate the animal's own thought process to reach the truth with very intentional actions. At the end, it's like seeing a light bulb go off in the horse's mind and he is clearly more relaxed (not just tired) because he isn't confused by what Buck is asking him to do. Buck is a master, and I really appreciate these videos, thank you so much for uploading them.

really nice to see how he was able to teach the horse to do what was asked and to find some relief in the process. Nice and willing horse. Too bad the owners weren't as willing to learn as this horse was.

This looks like a nice horse with a kind eye. It's a shame he got messed up with his training

Jessica W kind Eye? You mean scared eye, then Buck put the horse at ease! You must not know ANYTHING about horses, people or training either one! 👍🏻
Your comment truly shows your ignorance

"I'm the only friend this horse will have." I'm not trying to say the owners didn't mess this horse up, they did. But that horse doesn't want a friend who is going to ride him. He wants a friend that will relax and eat grass with him and occasionally play and scratch each other's back. You're putting him to work, and convincing him to do what you want because he's going to do it either way, the easy way or the hard way. He's not your friend, you don't care what he wants, you want him to be a riding horse.
I wish we thought more about what horses want. Did he look like he WANTED to be there for even one second? Hope Buck enjoyed the ride though.

What happened to this horse in the end? Did the owners step up? Or give him to someone who could accomplish what was needed?

@@mrbandy6969 I would suggest that you start with a clinic with Buck if you are serious. Nothing is free no matter what you have experienced. Im sorry for your troubles, but I honestly dont see how that could ever work because of the physical requirements involved here. Im sure Buck has a long list of those wanting to apprentice with him andwho are more than willing to pay for the knowledge he has to offer. What they have to offer to Buck is supporting him during his extensive travels and it would take a great degree of physical fitness to do that. Best wishes and I hope you get a chance to audit a clinic and meet Buck one day. I hope I do too. Maybe I will see you there. Take care.
