I think you are touching on something that is shifting in keeping snakes. Moving from tips and tricks to really understanding the motives and needs of the animals and troubleshooting the situation-manipulating the environment for the animal to solve the issue. You’re still giving a “trick”-but it’s “because of” something instinctive or psychological about the animal that has been studied and understood now. It’s good that we aren’t dancing like BF Skinner’s pigeons anymore. Good stuff as usual! Thanks for the info and ideas!
