Now-a-days keeping the classics on the road has become a bit difficult due to the Cretas, and Fortuners rolling around like darth-vadars. But for new cars, you can use them for up-to 25 years with minimum maintenance. Yes, you need to find an agent to get the RC renewed every 5 years after initial 15 years are up. And the pollution certificate can be an issue for diesels. Anyway it's just last couple of decades left for ICE cars. Soon electrics will replace everything and then it's just lots of silent boxes on the road. No fun in that...

Carb cleaning story: Back in the 60's my buds and I used to rent a lift at a gas station near a main intersection in Seattle for $.75 an hour to hop-up our cars. One day we heard that pouring kerosene down a Holley carb would clean it out and make it run better. We were busily pouring the second quart of kerosene into the holley of my revved up ford 352 when we heard horns honking nearby. We turned to see that a huge thick white cloud of smoke had drifted over the center of the 4 lane intersection and completely jammed traffic. True story.

Love your videos. You prove you don't need a lot of money or a huge shop to have fun. You just need some imagination and some effort and you can do the impossible with nothing and end up with something. Thank you for the hours of entertainment and the laughs.
if you put a drill bit down a bleeder it will be less likely to break off they break because the crush as they're hollow the drill bit makes it in to a solid bolt
Good morning from Cape Cod ⛵ Working on a Hooker's Cadillac is the most fun you can have with your pants on 😂 those 472s are indestructible. Everything went pretty smoothly considering that car looks like a complete freaking turd 😂 you guys are killing it 🤘 some of the best entertainment out there. Thanks for the sense of humor and ingenuity. I know you guys are on vacation and I hope you're having a great time✌️🇺🇲
I love these motors, my c10 that I've had since high-school has one. I'd recommend changing the 69 pie cut flex plate with a early-mid 70s solid flex plate because they're known to break. Also if you find 70+ eldorado oil pan and pickup you'll need to modify the pickup tube because the oil port on the 68 69 motors are smaller. Also highly recommended is spending $40 on the oil pump rebuild kit because they do randomly fail. All that and a cheap lunati regrind cam kit and your good to go
To make a 13 second car you will need a 29x9 inch slick with a 3:55 gear ratio and a small stall converter 2900 lbs should run mid to high 12s. Low 13 with stock converter keep the rpm redline at 4500 to have valve train live.
She's a beaut! My limited experience with older Caddys says, because of the fact it's a Fleetwood, it might have a Controlled Differential. Caddy speak for a posi. Also if the odo shows 104K, and the timing chain hasn't been replaced, it's passed time for it to fail and valves to kiss the pistons. Other than that, it should run forever, assuming you don't over rev it.
Love my PBG shirt Dalton! Love the channel, JD and Jess really compliment you too. I just don't understand why JUNK piles cost so much today! When I was teenager in the sixties, people would give us old cars to haul out of their yards! Yeah I know, try buying tires today for cheap!
"She's got the back seat rhythm." Gee whiz, Dalton, I thought I was nuts for getting a '74 Spitfire recently but really man...Pull the drive line and have the rest Exorcised and then burned. Love what you do, glad I don't have to.
Wow, that thing is a mess! It's awesome! You should just make a pool in the back yard of Super Clean and drive the car right into it hahaha. $750 for that motor, a good deal though.
Hey, Dalton: If you ever get sick and tired of the massive Pole Barn gig, you should take your wry style of humour and do a major comedy tour on the road....there are way worse comics doing quite well financially out there. Regards, Greg from B.C.

Looks like they're out of stock?
I did not expect that ending, my dad always talked about his 64 buick skylark gs with a 401 nail head that he had in the mid 60's before he went to vietnam. Thank you for what you do and hopefully look forward the the skylark build. Again thank you guys for these amazing videos.
Love your videos. You prove you don't need a lot of money or a huge shop to have fun. You just need some imagination and some effort and you can do the impossible with nothing and end up with something. Thank you for the hours of entertainment and the laughs.
750. , I used to buy junk and drive it for yrs for 50.
bucks . With 50 thousand miles on it , old ramblers .. clean too... Work cars😎
That rear factory ac is cool. Take that out for sure. Can't wait to see the motor go in the buick.
if you put a drill bit down a bleeder it will be less likely to break off they break because the crush as they're hollow the drill bit makes it in to a solid bolt
Dalton you are Thee Man you are so Damn awesome absolutely Love it when you tell the story it's so Funny.
Best introduction ever Dalton 👏. Love it. Taste of regret. Lol
Was getting ghostbusters vibes when you were ripping it in the yard, all the junk and fuel tank strapped to the roof.
😊I think it's funny. I've been watching you guys forever. Since you guys started your pages, and I think it's funny. You guys go crossed. Everything you help each other vice grip garage, junkyard, digs, eat all you guys help each other out, and I'm so happy about that. We need more people like you. In the world.
