Each episode is even better than the last! You've outdone yourselves, incredible stuff in this one! The interrogation scene with Chuckles was great, Scarlett with actual ponytail, and the Triple T action scenes. Topnotch voice acting too! Great work! I watched this with a big smile on my face 😃 The Hollywood magic of how the Triple T's seemed to fit in the cargo plane is well executed. Those water plants where Croc Master lies in wait gave me a Cobra-La vibe. Wonderful use of the Buzz Boar, a little blood and gore adds to the charm of it all 😎
Riveting! I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen. Great writing, acting, directing. The shots are so good. Netflix should give you guys a contract to make your own show. Or Hasbro marketing should contract you to make a show. Every production gets better. I can’t wait for the conclusion. My son loved how you built the interior of the plane for those shots. Brilliant.
Very well done!!! Perfectly executed plane boarding. No margin for error on such tight forced perspective. I was digging scarletts new hairdo, and the guys gearing up, complete with costume changes! Oh, and that shot of freedom was stunning!!! Bravo!!! 😊
Fantastic stuff - characters, settings, music, story, all the little "in world" details (the gun cabinet looked great!). Every creative decision seemed to be the right decision. And Croc Master rising out of the water like he was sitting up from a funeral casket! What a perfect establishing scene! I look forward to the next installment.
Wow! We all wanted to play with our Joes like this as kids. Excellent writing and direction. Even seeing the performer's hand and hearing the voice generated action sounds feels "quaint" and "charming", not cringy or overdone. Well done.

Maybe before he and Felix Stratton even met. Ahh the mysteries that surround that winter soldier metal arm. Maybe someone at gijoe is the cause of it. A member of Steel Brigade perhaps. Wouldn't it be interesting, to discover he also used to use that same supressed desert eagle, that Stratton uses. Imagine the handguns he's probably used. Maybe Steven will use one to shoot down this idea😂🤣. If he does...that's ok too. What will he use to do it? That red firefly submachine gun from Renegades part one? Or multiple hand cannons like Cecil? Maybe this is too big for a mini. 😂 Even still whatever you chose for the mission. You have my 100% support. Minor niggle, vehicles and troops never drop together (too much can go wrong). Vehicles/heavy supply pallets get dropped first, then troops jump out. That way, the gear has no chance of landing on the troops. Great story, awesome action.
You’re absolutely right of course but I’d say while the tone of these things will never hit the extremes of the kid’s cartoon from the 80’s, I’m not above a little lunacy here and there. Plus it’s an homage to one of my favourite Larry Hama issues where a Snowcat gets ejected from the C-130 with Frostbite, Avalanche and Snow-Job on board. Thanks for the comment!
I've seen many people do this type of thing with toys, the only difference with yours is its actually really good. You made my legs go numb on the toilet because I didn't want to pause it. Lol. Very nice! Love it! Looking forward to the conclusion. I like the force perspective used allowing the triple t tanks to load into the cargo plain and many more little things peppered throughout the video. Awesome 👌

Hehe! CC has a classical education it seems. I envision him NOT as a used car salesman huckster pyramid schemer. But I must admit quoting Shakespeare and Milton is something Hama liked to make part of his fabric so it’s not without precedent. Thanks for reaching out. And I love that Taurus was your first. This toyline is so broad and spans such a chunk of intersecting childhoods that I’ll wager there is a hardcore fan of every figure. I thought nothing of Taurus when I first encountered him. All to happy to gift to another kid at a birthday party actually. But now I frikken love everything about him. Design. Weapon. Filecard. My fave Renegade and hopefully he’ll really shine in part 3.

This is so good! I have all The Renegades, but to be honest I never really connected to them cause I didn't know too much about them, but this story really brought them to life for me, and I have a whole new appreciation for them.

Can't help but think the introduction of the new characters, the scenery, and the new look for some of the old characters was inspired by the Benelux Catalogue. 😄
How is this even real? I cant imagi3the work that goes into this! Its like you took the memories out of my head and made a movie. Excellent work ! 💪 From the camera angles, to the trick photography (like making the 3Ts look like they were actually driving into the cargo bay.), to the sound track but also adding your own sound effects, and having your hand or self in the picture took me baaaack . The shots of Sarge in the sun, the voices! Wow, the voices were on point! Scarlett, mercer and Sarge were spot on! Hawk too. I mean I could go on and on. I saw you had another vid, im gonna check that out too, and anything else. This was awesome.

I’ll see what I can do... but I’m not sure GI Joe have definitively won too often in these things! I’m trying to keep things... grey and muddied. But yeah, a Cobra wins the day outright would be an interesting angle. Be prepared to see named Joe characters meet their end. No sense in a victory over disposable Steel Brigade and Greenshirts!
Thanks for taking that leap. Yeah, there are certain shots you just can’t get with amateur stop motion. We like to think of this as puppeteering. You can often see the rods and strings, but your brain can look past em!
@@dereklarner6298 Pity. Only thing I could think of remotely near that size. I mean there was the early 80s Joe playset with the ammo box, but that's not the same. There was the modern 6 in Collector's Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow that had the weapons racks, but I'm not sure those will work either.

BRAVO! BRAVO! This was fantastic. Edgy, clever, well-shot. Great lighting, sound, and camera angles. How do you decide what camera angles to shoot from? Is it all storyboarded ahead of time? Or, do you just improvise in the field like a true Joe...burg? Another great video. Each one improves on the previous. I can’t wait for the day Joeburg takes the Defiant and Crusader for a spin.
Thank you! I dream about this stuff so when we get on location I usually have the sequence pretty well rehearsed in my head to be honest. And a lot of it is suggested by the type of terrain itself, the time of day, the size of the subject. I’ve never been terribly gifted with drawing so the notion of storyboarding was never likely to catch on!
@@gijoburg the stories never fail to entertain, and show your guys’ ability to come up with great stories. I kept laughing out loud at all the put downs. It was hilarious. I would love to see the behind the scenes/ making of this epic saga. This gives me new appreciation for these characters, the triple t, and the beast bomber. Now I wished I had picked it up when I had the chance. The voiceovers were very cleverly performed. Great job, everyone involved.
Glad to see the origins of the Renegades. I hope Mercer keeps the band as a momento/sign of good faith, but asks, "If I'm officially in, would you mind loosening the garter belt a bit?" 😂🤣 Also, were you able to get your mitts on that one figure of Mercer's guard (forget her name) and the Convention repaint of the Renegades as Marauders?
Stiletto was it? I don’t have her BUT might have a connection to the convention set... not sure about the Renegades joining up with the Marauders tho. Doesn’t seem their style.
My goodness, there isn’t enough that can be said in the way of praise about the cinematography, but the voice acting also has such fine care taken for striking the balance of accent variety, homages to the cartoon, but also striking out in different directions (not doing Chris Latta impression for the Commander, and not doing Hawk’s dull cartoon voice). I particularly like how you have a hint of Slaughter’s rasp, but not so gravelly that it gets unpleasant to listen to, which if you ever watched one of his promos in wwf, was a problem
Wow, I hadn’t considered Sarge being “too much”. But I’m stoked you liked our rendition. It’s done by none other than the man responsible for the Sgt Slaughters Slaughterhouse channel here on YT and trust a real Sarge fan to make sure to do the character justice.
@@gijoburg The Sarge is a great character for GI Joe (maybe a little overpowered in the cartoon, but I understand why they did it that way), and I really enjoy him here. Still waiting on a return of Baroness, oh and Copperhead, and Shipwreck, too!
Man if I wasn’t dreaming up a Shipwreck tale just the other day. A kinda tale that would weave into the Atlantis Factor and answer Ace’s question at the end: “so what was this all about?” I wonder if that would be of any interest? That series was 3 years ago!

PS: Good idea putting it in a Saw since it's merciless and doesn't care about bad view ports. Edit: 08:10. My fault. I guess they were still in development in the Terrordrome's first appearance too.
Very good question, you totally preempted it so no flies on you bud. I’d say that lone BAT in Blazing was a prototype on loan to Mindbender as part of the sales pitch from MARS to Cobra. And Mindbender put a rubber prosthetic over it to make it into a “life model decoy” in case he was ever cornered in his lab. As things turned out, he was!
First if all amazing video! I love these so much. I also have a question. On ebay i found a grunt swivel arm version for $25 but it doesnt have any accessories. I have the weapon and helmet, but i was wondering i think i have the backpack for 82 version somewhere (my 82 version is broken) and i know that the backpack doesnt fit on the 83 version but would i be able to put the 83 version arms onto the 82 body? than i would be able to use the 82 backpack. It isnt a big deal if i cant have the backpack on him but if this worked that would be pretty cool!

To bad Hasbro has no clue how to properly do GI Joe or is afraid to in the modern market.
I think his point was something along the lines of them having loyalty to the Sarge. No ulterior motive or national interest to cloud who calls the shots. It’s what sets the Renegades apart from the Joes.

In the animated movie, when the Sarge is beating up Nemesis Enforcer near the end, when he slams him to the ground, the Sarge even states that this is for the USA 🇺🇸 So if Red Dog 🐕 has ties and allegiances to the Sarge and what he believes in and represents, then wouldn't Red Dog have the same due to his dedication and loyalty to the Sarge?
@@MCDJACDC in the indirect sense, their aims align. In my head canon tho he’s a bit of a hired gun. And the Sarge formed the Renegades to be disposable hit men. The three of them aren’t even US citizens (I take Mercer’s place of birth on his filecard to be a witness protection-style relocation)

Minor niggle, vehicles and troops never drop together (too much can go wrong). Vehicles/heavy supply pallets get dropped first, then troops jump out. That way, the gear has no chance of landing on the troops. Great story, awesome action.
You’re absolutely right of course but I’d say while the tone of these things will never hit the extremes of the kid’s cartoon from the 80’s, I’m not above a little lunacy here and there. Plus it’s an homage to one of my favourite Larry Hama issues where a Snowcat gets ejected from the C-130 with Frostbite, Avalanche and Snow-Job on board. Thanks for the comment!

I've seen many people do this type of thing with toys, the only difference with yours is its actually really good. You made my legs go numb on the toilet because I didn't want to pause it. Lol. This is so good! I have all The Renegades, but to be honest I never really connected to them cause I didn't know too much about them, but this story really brought them to life for me, and I have a whole new appreciation for them.
Mission Accomplished! I think at the outset getting a better handle on these guys and how they operate was our main goal.

From the camera angles, to the trick photography (like making the 3Ts look like they were actually driving into the cargo bay.), to the sound track but also adding your own sound effects, and having your hand or self in the picture took me baaaack . The shots of Sarge in the sun, the voices! Wow, the voices were on point! Scarlett, mercer and Sarge were spot on! Hawk too. I mean I could go on and on. I saw you had another vid, im gonna check that out too, and anything else. This was awesome.

But yeah, a Cobra wins the day outright would be an interesting angle. Be prepared to see named Joe characters meet their end. No sense in a victory over disposable Steel Brigade and Greenshirts!

@@dereklarner6298 Pity. Only thing I could think of remotely near that size. I mean there was the early 80s Joe playset with the ammo box, but that's not the same. There was the modern 6 in Collector's Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow that had the weapons racks, but I'm not sure those will work either.

The only place I recall ever having a place to store my weapons was on the battle platform, and even that was fitted for rifles no bigger than an m-16

BRAVO! BRAVO! This was fantastic. Edgy, clever, well-shot. Great lighting, sound, and camera angles. How do you decide what camera angles to shoot from? Is it all storyboarded ahead of time? Or, do you just improvise in the field like a true Joe...burg? Another great video. Each one improves on the previous. I can’t wait for the day Joeburg takes the Defiant and Crusader for a spin.
Thank you! I dream about this stuff so when we get on location I usually have the sequence pretty well rehearsed in my head to be honest. And a lot of it is suggested by the type of terrain itself, the time of day, the size of the subject. I’ve never been terribly gifted with drawing so the notion of storyboarding was never likely to catch on!

I would love to see the behind the scenes/ making of this epic saga. This gives me new appreciation for these characters, the triple t, and the beast bomber. Now I wished I had picked it up when I had the chance. The voiceovers were very cleverly performed. Great job, everyone involved.
Glad to see the origins of the Renegades. I hope Mercer keeps the band as a momento/sign of good faith, but asks, "If I'm officially in, would you mind loosening the garter belt a bit?" 😂🤣 Also, were you able to get your mitts on that one figure of Mercer's guard (forget her name) and the Convention repaint of the Renegades as Marauders?
Stiletto was it? I don’t have her BUT might have a connection to the convention set... not sure about the Renegades joining up with the Marauders tho. Doesn’t seem their style.
As for the arm tag, I suppose it’ll have to become part of his standard look unless he trades up for some chainmail...

My goodness, there isn’t enough that can be said in the way of praise about the cinematography, but the voice acting also has such fine care taken for striking the balance of accent variety, homages to the cartoon, but also striking out in different directions (not doing Chris Latta impression for the Commander, and not doing Hawk’s dull cartoon voice). I particularly like how you have a hint of Slaughter’s rasp, but not so gravelly that it gets unpleasant to listen to, which if you ever watched one of his promos in wwf, was a problem
Wow, I hadn’t considered Sarge being “too much”. But I’m stoked you liked our rendition. It’s done by none other than the man responsible for the Sgt Slaughters Slaughterhouse channel here on YT and trust a real Sarge fan to make sure to do the character justice.

The Sarge is a great character for GI Joe (maybe a little overpowered in the cartoon, but I understand why they did it that way), and I really enjoy him here. Still waiting on a return of Baroness, oh and Copperhead, and Shipwreck, too!
Man if I wasn’t dreaming up a Shipwreck tale just the other day. A kinda tale that would weave into the Atlantis Factor and answer Ace’s question at the end: “so what was this all about?” I wonder if that would be of any interest? That series was 3 years ago!

Sorry I missed this. So, does this take place before Blazing Sand since the BAT is still in a development phase and it seems it was starting early field use in Blazing Sand? PS: Good idea putting it in a Saw since it's merciless and doesn't care about bad view ports.

Very good question, you totally preempted it so no flies on you bud. I’d say that lone BAT in Blazing was a prototype on loan to Mindbender as part of the sales pitch from MARS to Cobra. And Mindbender put a rubber prosthetic over it to make it into a “life model decoy” in case he was ever cornered in his lab. As things turned out, he was!

First if all amazing video! I love these so much. I also have a question. On ebay i found a grunt swivel arm version for $25 but it doesnt have any accessories. I have the weapon and helmet, but i was wondering i think i have the backpack for 82 version somewhere (my 82 version is broken) and i know that the backpack doesnt fit on the 83 version but would i be able to put the 83 version arms onto the 82 body? than i would be able to use the 82 backpack. It isnt a big deal if i cant have the backpack on him but if this worked that would be pretty cool!

I think his point was something along the lines of them having loyalty to the Sarge. No ulterior motive or national interest to cloud who calls the shots. It’s what sets the Renegades apart from the Joes.

In the animated movie, when the Sarge is beating up Nemesis Enforcer near the end, when he slams him to the ground, the Sarge even states that this is for the USA 🇺🇸 So if Red Dog 🐕 has ties and allegiances to the Sarge and what he believes in and represents, then wouldn't Red Dog have the same due to his dedication and loyalty to the Sarge?
@@MCDJACDC in the indirect sense, their aims align. In my head canon tho he’s a bit of a hired gun. And the Sarge formed the Renegades to be disposable hit men. The three of them aren’t even US citizens (I take Mercer’s place of birth on his filecard to be a witness protection-style relocation)
