I have QC45 and I am a musician. I got them when my old cheap ones broke. I cannot go back. I love them so much. They have changed the way I listen to music.
While I'm on my PC, I use my Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro. They are also very comfortable and you can get spare parts for 20 years because they are being used in professional environments.
Oddly I found my plantonics headset to be incredible. You know the call center headset company. I got the top end model and it hasn't disappointed. Light, feels great, tough, great audio, mic sounds great too. Bluetooth with about 4 hr battery life. Great for a office and gaming. Probably doesn't have the base of a high end model but 4 years on its held up fine.
I just got a pair of HyperX Cloud Alpha S, like not even 3 days ago. They're really comfy, and the cups have metal mounts, really rugged / robust if you got pets or kids around. Still hardwired 3.5mm jack into USB DAC/AMP that comes in the box. So if you wanna use it everywhere, it has a big brother IIRC that's wireless but more pricey.
Yes!! I used to have these, they're great value for the price. I just needed something that could also do bluetooth so I could use it with my phone and on the go. I'd definitely vouch for the Cloud Alphas though as well, build quality is great, audio isn't as good, but still good enough for most cases and really comfy!
About the potential issues: I use a HyperX Cloud II and it's all around awesome except for the two cheap plastic pieces the hold the whole thing together. One of those broke after a couple of months but I still came back to it because otherwise I really like it (for that price point anyway). Oh part of the reason I mentioned this is that I looked it up and a bunch of people have the same issue as me. If only I knew in advance.
Totally! I had this happen with my Sandisk portable SSD. Apparently it's super common for it to fail after not much use, but I didn't think to look up what issues it might have
Modhouse t60rp headphones, and a fosi v3 speaker amplifier and any dac. Speaker banana plugs to 4pin xlr convertor and a balanced 4pin xlr cable for the headphones. In my opinion super good combination for desktop use. Also the Mahogany wood looks so good on the headphones. No noise cancelation or anything fancy like that, but amazing sound and comfort. Also those headphones I think will last you a lifetime😂
tempted to get these BUT i have the Sennheiser m4 so not sure if to get these for study sessions OR the sony xm4, for lightness and comfort not really for sound quality, that's what the m4 is for

Oh, that's the best. I love when things are repairable. Thanks for the rec!
Any reason you choose the 770s over the 990s? Do you prefer closed over open?
@@2mustange I also own the Tygr, which are similar to the 990s. I like both and I tend to switch between them.

I love that! It's such a good feeling when you buy something that actually exceeds your expectations
@@bashbunni being In the business of novel/good ideas it's nice to have a good one now and then.:)
Best headphones for gym/noise cancelling activities for me.
XM4 on top

Are they comfortable for people that use glasses? 👀
